When for dinner tonight and all three meals were a 2 out of 10. Overpriced Lobster Ravioli and Mediterranean Scallop dishes were poorly presented and barely luke warm. Both dishes were clearly not worth half the cost. I will never go there again.

We had a Grouponn and used it toward or meal. The meal was spectacular. I have the clam chower(out of this world good) and the steamed clams. My daughter had the native clams and she enjoyed them. Food was of large portions. I plan on being in the area on July 3rd, 2014 for the other groupon purchased. I have... More

My wife and I recently ate at Periwinkles as we had a Groupon to use. It is a great restaurant for Seafood, and has a nice water view. The Clam Chowder was exceptional, and the Lobster Roll as well. The roll is larger than most, and worth every penny. It's also nice they have an Art Gallery, and while waiting,... More

We really enjoyed lunch outdoors, nice view of boats and marshes, good service and a delicious meal with a pint of Gollywobler. My fish taco was one of the best I have had and my wife's fried haddock was very tasty plus there was enough to take home. We have found a new best place for our beach and antiquing... More

My husband and I discovered Periwinkles after a day at Crane's Beach a few summers ago and it has become our favorite restaurant stop in the area. We especially love to sit on the outdoor deck at sunset time! It is peaceful and lovely to watch people taking boats in or putting them out from the landing adjacent to the... More

Had dinner on 5/31/14. Hostess was rather cold. Service slow, but I think that was due to our server being overwhelmed. She kept apologizing. Food was very good. I had Scallops Mediterranean. Crème Brule for dessert. Yummy. Experience would have been perfect, except for the tension w the staff.

We consider ourselves regulars at Periwinkle and have enjoyed every meals we have had. The view is amazing, the service is very good and friendly and the food served is always great and the quality has always been very consistent. On a sunny day, choose to sit on the deck and just enjoy.

My friends and I arrived for lunch and waited several minutes before anyone acknowledged our presence. We were seated near the window and had a great view of the water. The bread that was served was hot and fresh. The ladies room needed paper and the staff was told, but it didn't arrive until they were told again. The ladies... More

Admittedly, it was Mother's Day but we did have a reservation for 5:00 pm for just two people to beat the crowd. Our server was Sharon. She was very pleasant but had at least four tables to wait on and was also bartending and totally overworked. We waited 30 minutes between having our appetizers (of which the clam chowder was... We think Periwinkles has the best NE Clam Chowder in New England and that's saying a lot! It's really really flavorful and full of fresh clams. And everything else is excellent. Service great; view lovely; fresh seafood beautifully prepared. We've been there at the height of the summer and in the off-season - it's always excellent.
