Toms Shea's continues to bring great food and friendly service to the Essex area! Exceptional Bloody Mary's!! . The brunch menu is extensive and the food has never been a disappointment. And the views - incredible marsh views out the Esssex River! Can go by boat in the summer, highly recommended with plenty of dock space ( more recently added)... More

The food was good. I had the duck, it was cooked nicely, and my friend had the filet mignon and he said it was cooked perfectly. The service was friendly and the dining room pleasant. The two problems we had with Shea's were 1) their high wine prices, both by the bottle and the glass. Only one bottle was priced... More

Today, I visited Shea's restaurant with my elderly mother for lunch. We have been going there for years and it was always a favorite, until recently. A few years ago, the name changed from Tom Shea's to just Shea's. The remodeling is beautiful, as is the scenery, but we have noticed in the last 3 or 4 visits, that it... More

A group I belong to celebrates every holiday season with a luncheon. Tom Shea's was one of the few local restaurants that would accommodate us for 11:30 a.m. We were seated in a small function room on the second floor, with a beautiful view of the Essex marshes. Service was quick and courteous and food presentation very attractive. Among the... More

Just had first visit/late lunch at Shea's. We sat in the sunroom and had a beautiful view of the river and marsh. Unfortunately, it was cold and seemed to get colder the longer we were there. The heat came on just as we were leaving. My husband had a salad, which was nice and fresh. Also had broiled fish sandwich.... More

Great view and Bloody Mary! The Eggs Benedict was cooked perfectly. No dislikes. It is actually called just Shea's now.

Decided to try out this restaraunt because the line was too long at Woodmans. Looked really nice on the outside and quaint in the inside...As soon as the waitress put some bread on the table we were invaded by flies. I ordered the lobster salad sandwich, seamed ok until I bit into a piece and noticed a large dark brown... More

Took my daughter and her friends to Shea's by boat from Bay View, Gloucester. Quick word to mariners: don't use your chartplotter past the government marks. Strictly follow local markers since the winter storms shift the sandy bottom around significantly from year to year (don't ask me how I know). I have a long history with Shea's - have been... More
