Meat lovers only

This was our first dining experience at the Farm. I had looked up the menu on line and saw a review by the phantom gourmet. One of the owners interviewed went on for quite some time about how everything is made fresh and how nothing is made from frozen. I understand that this is a meat lovers... read more

We are locals and come here often. We love all of their bbq and pulled pork options (the pulled pork pizza and the pork enchilada are both amazing), but their nachos might just be one of the best things on the menu. They are pretty much the size of an entree, so come hungry.

Took two teenagers, everyone was happy with choices. We all agreed to get the honey mustard wings, as an app, double order. It was yummy and enthusiastically devoured. I got the Memphis burger, pulled pork on a burger with coleslaw and pickles with hand cut fries on the side. I asked for no bun and it arrived looking awesome. It... More

We have been to The Farm several times and enjoyed our meal. Although I can sympathize with Critical Chef about the noise level! It seems to be geared more to families than single patrons. They even have a Children Eat Free night, I believe it is on Monday. This visit we noticed that a lot of items were taken off... More

Try the fried pickles! The Farm often has live music and has a great outdoor area. Their bbq sauce is really good...I think it has cranberries in it....yum. Great place for casual bbq on a weeknd tour around the northshore.

I bought a groupon and decided to go for dinner with my fiance. Upon arrival we were greeted with the sound of about 30 crying and yelling children.I personally do not drink soda or alcohol so when I asked for a non alcoholic beverage the waitress looked absolutely baffled. While looking over the menu I saw a a veggie burger... More

Just returned from dinner at The Farm. It is a friday night and the place was half empty, not a good sign. What can I say, the whole meal was lack-luster. I ordered the raspberry margarita, which turned out to be tequila with light pink water on top......no flavor....no raspberry. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich with no sauce,... More

The Farm Essex We went to the farm on a Saturday for Lunch and I was quite impressed for the quality, the prices and the size of the portions. The drinks are well mixed and very affordable. We decided on a Queso dip to start. One would be enough for a diner for one person. I Had the Fish and... More

The Farm has a good local flavor There is a large Bar area that always seems to be full, a large dining area and an outside patio for the good weather The specialty seems to be the Barbecue plates which includes a very good pulled pork sandwich or a full barbecue plate that has a little of everything. The atmosphere... More

My boyfriend and I had heard such wonderful things about the farm, so we decided to check it out. We walked in and there were probably 7-10 tables in the whole restaurant, which is normal for a Tuesday night. The hostess was very nice and sat us at an outdoor table, which wasn't wiped down, there were still rings from... More
