Excellent food at The Dunes

Now called The Dunes, the Winnetu restaurant has great services and even better food. The only diappointment was the wine list - they were out of several selections on the menu.

They do a nice job of separating out families with and without kids. Kids area has a play space with wonderful aides who keep the kids busy while we waited for dinner and afterwards. 14 in our group and we all enjoyed our meals

The restaurant now goes by The Dunes, and it has a great outdoor patio/bar area that was nice before we sat down to dinner. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The prices were quite reasonable, especially on drinks. I had the cod and it was very fresh and prepared well. Everyone at the table enjoyed there meal. They also... More

We started by taking the launch out to dinner which provided our guests with a beautiful tour of Edgartown harbor. We were a party of 6 and everyone enjoyed dinner. The night started with a great selection of speciality cocktails. We enjoyed chowder, various salads wand flatbread apps. Be forewarned the flatbread is a medium pizza! Te entres were delicious... My friends and I were looking for a place to have a nice dinner that was still kid-friendly. Our group (8 adults & 1 child) found this place online and decided to give it a try. This was also one of the only places on the island that could accommodate our size group on a saturday night with only a... More

This was not our first rodeo; we enjoy taking the water taxi and made a 6:30 pm reservation a few days in advance. This year the first sign was the name was changed to the Dunes (same menu though); when we arrived at the water taxi, we were the 1st ones there in addition, another elderly couple joined us. Within... More

Ate here again after a two year absence and it was as good as remembered. Short menu but fresh and creatively prepared cuisine. Service was excellent as was the wine list. Had a great seasonal vegetable salad and Atlantic Cod. Both were excellent. They have a good kids menu and kids play room for parents to get some quiet time... More

They must have just changed the name of this restaurant since some signage says Lure and some says The Dunes. Regardless, food is excellent and the prices are reasonable for island fine dining. The waitstaff is very young and uneven. I bet by the end of the season, they are much better at service but in all a great restaurant... More

Solid meal, nice space, reasonable service; all what you'd expect from a good hotel restaurant. If you're a foodie there's no reason to go out of your way to eat here, but it's perfectly respectable, especially if you're staying at the Winnetu with nothing else within walking distance.
