Nice, place to get some decent food in a relatively short period of time.

The food was good, we had a steak sandwich and BLT and fries. The fries were fresh and tasty, my husbands steak sandwich was very good, my BLT was average, I don't think the bacon was made fresh and therefore, it was only average. We were in a hurry so this satisfied that requirement. The... read more

We went in lunch. There is no pizza in lunch. We had turkey sandwich, which was average. Two of us were vegetarian, they had tough time here. they had grilled cheese sandwich and fries. There are not really a lot of options here...or in this town for that matter....

Visited with a bunch of friends on a guys weekend on MV. Line and wait for the Shanty was too long, Port hunter wasn't open and we weren't dressed for the Atlantic. Figured we'd give the Main Street Diner a shot. Got into the classic "50s" diner to find an empty restaurant with two families eating breakfast, looked like they... More

It's classic American diner food, with nothing all to surprising, but offers a nice selection, and a great location - perfect for dinner before a movie in the theater right upstairs.

Well, what more can I say that hasn't been said about this place! I have written a review for this miserable excuse of a restaurant some time ago. Needless to say, the experience has stay in my craw like thorn that I can't shake. From time to time I revisit the reviews for The Main Street Diner and what do... More

We came here for lunch. The lobster roll was good. Sweet potatoes fries were yummy. Service was also friendly.

We had lunch there in early Spring. Food was of expected standard - we had meatball spaghetti (average) and fried fish sandwich (good). Service was good. Food was slightly pricey.

My wife and I called in for a pizza (big sign outside says 'pizza') at lunchtime to find pizzas are served after 5 pm!, it was 2 pm so we had to order from a lunch menu. Food order taken quickly and it arrived quickly, but no knives, had to be removed from another table, so we had to opt... More

This diner was neat and clean and the guy waiting on us seemed like he might be the owner and was very nice. The menu was VERY limited for dinner options and I did not like that it was $5 charge to share a meal with someone at your table. Food was what we expected; good but nothing to write... More

When we took a look at the menus we almost decided to leave right then. But silly me said we are here let's just order. The food was VERY expensive for a diner. In fact it was the priciest omelet I have ever ordered and I eat them a lot. The omelet was good but not great and they also... More
