Usually get at least one meal here per visit. So close to Kelley House. Wish they still had fireplace being used w/sofas in winter instead of a few more tables. Nice to eat outside now at this time of year. Went in before crowd, w/2 daughters. Bought sliders, pulled pork, chowder was the best!!!!! A special salad, FF, onion rings... More

This is a favorite of ours every year we come but this year on 21 July we were received with an extremely rude hostess. She barely spoke English and when we asked if we could sit outside she said "we don't sit 8 people outside and we don't accommodate." Good bye Newes! It was nice spending time with you, hire... More

Ate there with family. Nothing special. Seated in the bar area, got busy and the bartender sort of forgot about us. Flagged down another server for refills. Had fried chicken, fish, burger. Food was good. Not worth the cost. Ate at another restaurant on the Vineyard later that week and paid the same for prime rib and shrimp, salad, and... More

I have only had breakfast here. On an island where prices are high, you can get a good breakfast here ( 2 eggs any style, 3 strips of bacon, toast ) for only $7. On the other hand, I will mention that if you add coffee and home fries it will cost you another $8.

We have eaten at this restaurant a few times now. This time was not that great. It was after the 4th of July parade in Edgartown so they were very busy. Having said that, this is when we always eat here and they are always busy after the parade so I can't say this was the problem. We ordered their... More

My friend and I went in and had de-lish fish & chips, a croque Monsieur, onion rings, and onion soup and some very good, proper beer. All was good! I tried the Draymans Porter (very tasty) and the Offshore Nut Brown Ale. My only wish would be that they put on another stout, to have another choice besides Guinness. Not... More

We stopped by two nights when we did not want a big meal. Lovely salads, crab cakes, calamari, fish and chips. Guinness properly poured and good service. Enjoyed eating outside one night and inside the other.

Great palce to get a more afforadble casual lunch or dinner. Onion rings get a lot of talk but in the long run are not that great. Good atmosphere and friendly staff make this a nice place to sit down and have a drink. The menu has something for everyone and the food quality is above average.

We've been coming here for years. Food is really great if you stick with the basics like burgers and traditional fare. They are very kid friendly. Good selection of beers on tap. Excellent service.
