Overpriced, subpar 400 cheese tray

We were having a party in the Vineyard and went to this cheese shop for a cheese and meat tray. The staff told us that the cheese and meats we selected would feed thirty people. We selected a variety of domestic and imported cheeses. When we arrived the tray were small and poorly arranged. The... read more

Service at Black Sheep is excellent. The staff have a deep knowledge of their products and offer advice in a friendly, no-attitude manner. I wish their front porch was a bit larger so I could hang there all day

I just spoke to the manager at the Black Sheep to make reservations at Trio for our upcoming trip to the island. She explained that they are no longer offering wine and cheese restaurant service at Trio, but instead are focusing on their cheese and prepared food offerings to go.

I wish every seaside down had an option like this. In our humble opinion cheese is wonderful and they offer some beautiful varieties. Perfect wine flights to sample new glasses. Write them down. After a few you will forget your favorite. We would go back for the flatbreads. I have a Swiss/Gouda allergy and they were kind enough about replacing... More

During the day, this is an upscale cheese, etc. shop. But on Thursday/Fri/Sat nights it becomes a little bistro, with candles, music, minimalistic style. There is a selection of cheese platters, but you can mix and match, a selection of charcuterie platters, but again you can interchange, and suggested flights (3 samples) of wine or beer to go with what... We hosted a late night party for friends and family who travelled to our daughter's wedding in Martha's Vineyard at this wine and cheese bistro. Mark took very good care of us in setting up a table where all our friends and family could gather up and enjoy each other's company. All our guests commented on how much they enjoyed... More

At night, this cheese shop transforms into a cute wine bar that specializes in cheese, charcuterie, and wine flights. We loved our experience -- created our own cheese plate and charcuterie plates. There were so many great options it was hard to choose, but we managed! Also enjoyed a delicious flatbread with brie, arugula, and summer veggies. Friendly service, too.... More

The whole place was empty and we tried to come in for a flight of wine and a cheese plate and they would not seat us without a reservation.

Excellent cheese and with top flavors. Great little shop with helpful staff that will help you pick out exactly what you are looking for. This is a great spot to grab some grub for a picnic before heading over to south beach.

I love the dips and cheeses at this place and the guacamole is to die for. The Blue Cheese dip is a must-have. They have daily samples to try at the counter. The Kalamata olives are exceptional - as is there selection of crackers and cookies. I visit here before heading to the beach. Unfortunately, at the end of the... More
