Ok, but pricey.

Not sure exactly what to think of this restaurant....the location is obviously perfect with free parking. Not exactly the same can be said for the rest. I had good Swordfish with potatoes gratinee, but my wife had inedible Merguez sausages with a strange aftertaste. The servers seemed a bit "green... read more

On a beautiful early fall Saturday, a friend recommended we try the Atlantic Fish & Chop House as she had been there before. Even though it was crowded, we were seated right away with a beautiful view of the marina feet away from where we were seated. Neither of us were in the mood for meat, but looking forward to... Not impressed as service was poor. Waiters were rude acted like get didn't want to be there. Food was meh, really small portions. Bad smelling bathroom.

My husband and I had dinner here on a Sunday night. The atmosphere is upscale waterside and the location is ideal - right on the water. The menu is more traditional than inventive, with solid seafood options and a la carte dishes; the wine list is expensive. Our waiter was courteous but not overly friendly or impressive - service was... More

If you ask anyone in Martha's Vineyard what's the best restaurant, they say "The Atlantic". It was definitely a nice place, but by far not the "best" restaurant for food in the Vineyard. I would recommend for a nice lunch - put on the list but manage your expectations.

We have been here many times over the years. The view cannot be beat and we like it better than Seafood Shanty, or Harborview. Good martinis, salads, my husband gets the fish, french fries for the kids. We went after the fire this year and did not go back. They gave us an arugula salad (not what we ordered, and... More

Let me set the scene! You are greeted by a person with his shirt out, sloppy and a big tummy. He is wearing a wrinkled shirt. Very noisy and dark. Most of the entrées are in the $40 - $50 range. The prices don't fit with the place. I had clam chowder followed by a lamb burger. The chowder was... More

Food was well prepared and tasty! Escargot was fantastic! I think it is one of the better places to eat on MV. At night, does get a bit loud.

Visited with my friend for a ladies afternoon out. This was my second visit this season and enjoyed both experiences. This visit we started with delicious Bloody Mary garnished with 2 jumbo shrimp - an excellent choice while relaxing outside on the water taking in a gorgeous day at MV. We had a hard time deciding on entrées so we... More

We had high hopes for great seafood at this well known, well rated restaurant. We knew, going in, that dinner would not be a bargain here, but, being from the Midwest, we were happy to pay for a really nice dinner on the coast. The weather was windy and rainy but we opted to sit on the enclosed deck for... More
