"Best fried clams in the world"-Food & Wine Magazine. Arnold's seafood is so fresh, any fisherman would approve. Native lobster, local raw bar, cocktails, fried and baked seafood, lobster rolls, salads, an extensive children's menu, gourmet ice cream, and mini golf. Arnold's owner is Nathan "Nick" Nickerson, a true Cape Cod native and Mayflower descendant. Nick grew up surrounded by the sea and worked on farms and with family in Cape Cod restaurants. Almost 40 ago he founded what has become the world-famous Arnold's Lobster & Clam Bar. From the start, crowds were drawn to the fresh, native seafood, generous portions, friendly service and fun Cape Cod atmosphere found at Arnold's. Pets are allowed in our outdoor area in the back.

A Must Stop especially if you have teenagers

Arnold's is a landmark and a must see if you have a few days and looking for a true cape cod lobster "experience" but be warned there is a lot to like and a lot to hate depending on your demeanor. A Cape Cod favorite, and for good reasons. Quality of the food is excellent and prices are reasonable. Portions are quite generous. The atmosphere is basic, with tables underneath tents. You wait in line, then order, are given pager that buzzes when your food is ready, and then you head off to find a table. When your pager buzzes, you... More

If you've traveled the "real Cape Cod", I'm talking from the elbow to P-town only, (anything previous is just Massachusetts), and have been through Eastham then it's fair to say you've seen the line at Arnold's. Naturally there's a reason. And if you've done this trek several times a year ever since Fonzi would make you laugh on Tuesday nights... More

There is almost always a line at Arnold's - anytime of the day or evening. To me, that shows it's a good place to eat. I have been going to Arnold's for years, always once every time I come to the Cape. Although there's a line, it does move realtively fast. Don't worry about getting a table. There a lot... More

On my way up to the cape usually like a nice lobster role. This time I was alone with the dog in 90 degrees, not wanting to leave him in the car started waiting on the take-out line was 1 away from ordering some woman worker said you can't have dogs in here, even though the line starts outside. Most... More

Hey Hawk I'm sorry you had difficulty with your dog. FYI, we are a pet friendly restaurant. We allow dogs in our outside eating area but clearly not inside the restaurant unless they are certified "seeing eye dogs". Its a health code violation to allow dogs inside any restaurant unless certified for the owners assistance. We would much rather see... More

My family and I enjoyed a great meal at Arnolds. My wife enjoyed steamed lobster and steamers. They were perfectly steamed. I enjoyed a lobster roll. We all loved our food including the onion rings which we were told were a must have. The night before we went to the clam bake at Chatham Bars Inn. The overall cost at... More

Finally tried Arnold's with our grandsons after being on Cape 20 years! Well, I can why it is so popular. We have fried shrimp, calamari, BLT and chicken tenders for the kids. Not greasy, good batter with generous portions. Warning: cash or checks only. That was a surprise. Especially at these prices. Very, very casual but comfortable. Lines moved pretty... More

No wonder they are number 1. All the seafood was fresh, perfectly cooked. $18.99 for the scallop basket 15 large succulent well fleet scallops with good cocktail sauce. Fish was cod and so white and flakey. Mm mm. You can't go wrong with any seafood choice here. Can't comment on other items as we have not tried.

A well run establishment - this includes their restaurant, ice cream bar and their miniature golf. Food is always good, the staff is friendly, and the facilities are always clean. My family and I love to stop there when riding bikes on the bike trail that runs right behind Arnolds. They cater to the cyclist by having plenty of bike... More
