"Best fried clams in the world"-Food & Wine Magazine. Arnold's seafood is so fresh, any fisherman would approve. Native lobster, local raw bar, cocktails, fried and baked seafood, lobster rolls, salads, an extensive children's menu, gourmet ice cream, and mini golf. Arnold's owner is Nathan "Nick" Nickerson, a true Cape Cod native and Mayflower descendant. Nick grew up surrounded by the sea and worked on farms and with family in Cape Cod restaurants. Almost 40 ago he founded what has become the world-famous Arnold's Lobster & Clam Bar. From the start, crowds were drawn to the fresh, native seafood, generous portions, friendly service and fun Cape Cod atmosphere found at Arnold's.

Fun place but always crowded

Food is decent and has a wide array of choices. I will warn that there is usually a line out of the door at all times of day. It's on the rail trail and has a put put course adjacent to the restaurant which is nice and not too pricey ($6-7 per person). It has areas for large vehicles and... read more

On our visit to the Cape, we ate at Arnold's. I had the lobster roll and it was outstanding. The lobster was fresh and there was plenty of it. I could choose from the hot buttered lobster or the cold lobster salad. I chose the hot and was delighted. The fried seafood plate was bountiful and perfectly done. The child... More

Thank you Winston and all you folks that have had such wonderful things to say about Arnolds. Very few folks could possibly know how hard we all work to provide you with a positive dining experience. For those few folks who have been disappointed for one reason or another I can only assure you we will work even harder to... More

Stopped on our way to our summer rental. Looks deceptively simple and homey, attached to a mini golf place. Don't be fooled. You will be served outstanding seafood made simply. Kids meals come on a frisbee!

Fast, friendly, and delicious. Best of all, very clean and they stock a full bar. Be sure to bring cash, no credit cards accepted. The ice cream looked yummy but we were too full.

We went to Arnold's twice on vacation. Sampled everything from the CT Lobster Roll to Fish & Chips to Fried Clams to Chicken Tenders. Everything was delicious. The onion rings were awesome. Might be a little pricey compared to some places, but worth it!

Just had a meal there this evening. Absolutely would not go back. You place your order, pay, are given an electronic device and told yo go find a fable. Once the electronic device flashes you go to collect the order for your group ! The noise in the place was horrendous, full of people with kids running around everywhere. Quickest... More

Well Teri, you pretty much nailed it. Arnolds is not a formal white table cloth restaurant, it's a Clam Shack, very informal, kid friendly. Not real accurate on food quality I would have to say, but the rest is pretty much right on. If you are looking for a nice quiet romantic dinner you might try Chillingsworth or Captain Linnell... My husband, daughter and I visited here and enjoy everything we have every time we come. My husband and I shared the jumbo cold lobster roll. This roll has less the a smidge of mayo on a buttered toasted roll along with a small container of cole slaw. The lobster is literally bursting out of the sandwich and is very fresh... More

We had the fried clam basket and the clams were very good but I would have liked to have a few more of them. It came with fries that were good too. The onion rings were excellent and piled high. The clam chowder was also very good and it was VERY hot. One thing to be aware of is that... More

I really needed this! After a very disappointing dinner at Kream n' Kone the night before I really craved some decent seafood. With clams on my mind, I ordered a small side of whole bellied clams. It was hardly a small order! The sign said 1/2 pint. That must have been the raw clams. After being lightly breaded and fried... More
