Mom and I had lunch here on her 70th birthday. It was SO good. The chowder is excellent and the lobster roll was fantastic. The waiter was 'ok' and left a little to be desired. All in all, good meal.

I would say that the word "SHANTY" would have scared me away. It did'nt! It should have!!! It will next time. The service was atrocious. Clueless in Cape Cod was our server. Honestly. The food was over-cooked. The food was very small in portion. The product(shrimp) were downright tiny in size. The whole shabang was greasy. Tasteless. The lobsters were... More

We chanced upon the restaurant when we were travelling from Hyannis to Provincetown along the state hyway. It's near the Nauset Light. great place, no frills, and great pricing! 30USD for 2 lobsters, pound of steamers, clam chowder, baked potato and sweetest corn on the cob! great value for money!

I'm jsut not all that sure why it was so popular when I was there! I think it is fairly hard to go wrong with seafood in Cape Cod. I do wish I had tried their BBQ - perhaps that is what makes this place stand out for a lot of people.

We enjoyed the Baked Lobster (to die for), and the Shrimp Scampi (also great). Our Server, Ron, was an exceptional young man who was courteous and professional.

stopped here while travelling had the fried full bellied clams. They were ok, fries were a little soggy. I didn't find the place to be overly pricy and I thought that I got what I paid for

For years we've driven by the Lobster Shanty and always said 'next year we'll eat there', but every year we'd never get there....till this year. I dont understand what the draw is to this place. The staff is very friendly....but the menu is just ok. Nothing all that spectacular on it and everything is served to you on paper plates... More

We stopped here for lunch, we were the only ones in the entire restaurant, not the best service, bartender was our waiter and he mostly hungout behind the bar watching tv. Boneless buffalo wings were just strips of chicken over dressed and over cooked. fries were bland, zero flavor. when we asked for dessert they told us they were out... More
