Lobster was not well prepared and other items only fair at best

We went as a family on Saturday afternoon when not many were in the restaurant and service was still slow and food when it came was not great. The lobster bisque had almost no lobster and the entrees were not great.

We ate here on our trip to Cape Cod. The cranberry margarita was strong and tasty. Food was average, large portions, bit overpriced. Service was unremarkable.

Stopped here for lunch after visiting the NP Visitor Center across the street. I had the lobster roll, my wife had the bacon cheeseburger. Both were filling.

We stopped by on a whim and it was well worth it. Kids portions are huge and come in a bucket and spade which they can take home with them which is a nice touch. All you can eat fish and chips was fantastic. You can eat in the restaurant which we did or takeaway. Definitely recommend.

We proceeded to this restaurant because we ordered takeout from its sister restaurant, Lobster Pound, the night before, and we were happy with our food. We arrived around past 8 for dinner and there were no fresh lobsters in their display. There were also no big lobsters available. We just ordered the usual 1.5-lb. lobsters and ate sadly. At 8... Sign outside says best lobster roll on the cape. Don't let that fool you it was little and very bland. Also got there 'famous' onion rings for $6.50. Absolutely awful, sent them back. Total disappointment will not be back.

Summer when the lobsters are plenty and all the other first choices are busy, you won't be disappointed with the Lobster Shantys fare. To not give an excellent is because there aren't always enough staff to help with the crowds.... Fish and chips very good...

Good for a quick stop. Lobster roll was very good - loaded with lobster, not fillers. Clam plate was very good, and very large. Kids meal in a bucket was cute. Prices a bit high, but OK for a tourist spot. Ambiance was typical beach stop - very not fancy.

Unfortunately this is the only lobster shack nearby before you take the exit off US route 6 to head to coast guard beach. We ordered scallop scampi, kids chicken tender and lobster roll. Us, a family of three, paid $48 without any drinks so not only it was expensive but was void of any flavor. The scallops, $19.95, were over... More
