One of the few places open past 8:00 in mid-September. HUGE portions (better plan on splitting that salad!), and tasty.

We ate here the first night we arrived because it was close by and easy to find. We have enjoyed the food and the atmosphere so much that we have been there every night since. Tables are cleaned well before being reset. Service is very good and all the servers are helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and changes to... More

Always a great experience at Amaris! We have only eaten at the bar. The food is very good as is the atmosphere. Our favorites are veal chop and Caesar salad with chicken spears!

Recently changed hands, but still checks all the boxes from great bread & dipping oil, to al dente pasta & decadent desserts. Always a friendly host & wait staff. Brick oven pizzas, huge salads, large entrees. Their seafood appetizers & entrees are especially popular. Large back room for seating a large party.

Menu has something for everyone even if you are not in the mood for Italian dishes. Pizza is good too. The pizzas are 10" but can easily feed two with a salad on the side. Actually their salads are quite large and can be split too. (That will also leave room for the yummy dessert menu!) Nice wine and drink... More

We ate here to celebrate our anniversary. Service was impeccable, wine wonderful, and food delish! We split a Cesar salad between the two of us and couldn't finish it, and we also split the swordfish piccata which was huge and excellent. I am so glad we decided to split as we couldn't finish the entree either. We are from Texas... More

We used to love this place. It was always a bit pricey but with it. Not the case today. We were there on the evening of the 5 th. It was not busy and now I know why. I had the eggplant parm and it was really bad. Plate full of water and overcooked mushy pasta. The sauce was watery... More

We had dinner last night at our family favorite restaurant. We were surprised to see that it was not crowded at 7pm. We found out why. The quality of the food is no comparison to the old Amari. Three of us had veal parm, it was ok but the side pasta was mushy and not served with enough tomato sauce... More

Have been to this restaurant a number of times. Food is very good but heavy on pasta dishes which I guess you'd expect from an Italian restaurant but swordfish over angel hair doesn't quite cut it. But overall, nice selection and good food. But in the summer, get there early to avoid a long wait.

We really like this place and we try to go once a year when we're down the Cape. It has a nice atmosphere. The eggplant parm is very good. The mozzarella ball appetizer is yummy. The shrimp scampi was not as good as it has been in years past, though...had too much lemon and needed more flavor. Waitress was friendly... More
