Delicious meal - a little loud

We enjoy going to Amari for its slightly upscale and creative menu. The bar is large and they have a great martini menu. Four of us went recently and each of us enjoyed our meals. I ordered a seafood scampi dish ($33) with spinach and pasta and the dish was chock full of lobster, shrimp and... read more

If you're looking for reasonable food and a relatively quick eat (you're in a hurry or like us jet lagged and desperate to get to sleep) Amari provides polite service, reasonable food and a decent wine list. Portion sizes are enormous so any pasta main could be shared between two. The bread was served warm and with olives which was... More

My wife and I have been going to Amari for years and thought it was time to provide a review. Not only has the food been outstanding but the service is spectacular. The restaurant, of course, has fine Italian cuisine but also has a wonderful selection of both seafood and meats. We recommend the Chicken Rocco. Don't miss the appetizers... More

The food is just okay, at best. Wait staff makes you feel as if they are doing you a favor, waiting on you. We will not be returning to Amari.

I've eaten here for years. Last night was the worst! The food preparation was awful. The Antipasti was all salad and had very little meat and cheese. It looked like it was put out by a kid. The sword fish portion was small and dry and they threw spinach over it to warm it up. All of our potatoes were... More

Amari's is just fabulous...from the food, the service, the atmosphere, the cocktails....it just has it all. Do not hesitate to try Amari's if you are in the area. It is moderately priced(not cheap) but it is worth what you pay. This is a rare gem on the Cape that is consistently good. One of our favorite spots. We go there... More

We went to Amari in a party of four, looking for some good spicy food after the traditional Thanksgiving meal the day before. The restaurant was very attractive, with ample parking. We were shown to a booth in a smaller, warm-looking room, a little apart from the main room. The waitress was very attentive. When two of us ordered the... More

We live nearby and have dined at Amari many times over the past 13 years. The bar area is very popular - the large square bar has plenty of seating and the bartenders are great. There is additional seating at tables on one side wall and high-tops on the other. Especially in the offseason it is common for the bar... More

Tried Amari Restaurante the other night since it was our last chance for a good local pizza place in Sandwich. Wow, they offered take our so we tried their Campagnola pizza and it was fantastic! Nice and thin, true North End Italian pizza that was nice and crispy. After being thoroughly impressed with this pie we can't wait to go... More

We were very disappointed in Amari. When my husband asked for rice instead of pasta with his meal because he cannot eat wheat, were informed that there were no substitutions on the specials menu, so there would be a "small upcharge" of $8.00 to have rice instead of pasta! I asked for balsamic vinegar to go with the oil for... More
