Took my sister and her husband there for dinner. So sorry we picked Amari. Worse meal. So very unhappy with our dinners.

We used to love this place. It was always a bit pricey but with it. Not the case today. We were there on the evening of the 5 th. It was not busy and now I know why. I had the eggplant parm and it was really bad. Plate full of water and overcooked mushy pasta. The sauce was watery... More

We had dinner last night at our family favorite restaurant. We were surprised to see that it was not crowded at 7pm. We found out why. The quality of the food is no comparison to the old Amari. Three of us had veal parm, it was ok but the side pasta was mushy and not served with enough tomato sauce... More

Have been to this restaurant a number of times. Food is very good but heavy on pasta dishes which I guess you'd expect from an Italian restaurant but swordfish over angel hair doesn't quite cut it. But overall, nice selection and good food. But in the summer, get there early to avoid a long wait.

We really like this place and we try to go once a year when we're down the Cape. It has a nice atmosphere. The eggplant parm is very good. The mozzarella ball appetizer is yummy. The shrimp scampi was not as good as it has been in years past, though...had too much lemon and needed more flavor. Waitress was friendly... More

My wife and I have been Amari "regulars" for years. Even after they changed ownership we were big fans. However, my recent experience is a very bad sign. I ordered rack of lamb which is one of my favorite dishes at any restaurant. The amount of meat on the rack was miniscule--the smallest I've ever seen. This was particularly surprising... More

Amari's has a lovely atmosphere and a nice bar. The food, however, is not very good. Many dishes taste similar, and there is an excessive amount of salt used. The quality is similar to olive garden, which is not what you would expect in a privately owned neighborhood. Other reviewers are correct. the portions are large.

If you are on Cape Cod and want a special dining treat this is the place. Entrees ae fairly priced with ample portions and wonderful flavors. My Cod and angel hair pasta was cooked to perfection and was served at the perfect temperature. More importantly, the service was excellent, it seems to be harder and harder these days to get... I live nearby and eat here often. The portions are generous. There are plenty of leftovers for the next day which is our favorite. The atmosphere is great too with a live band weekend nights in the lounge. The restaurant gets crowded and reservations are recommended. They also have a take out menu which is a nice option. The restaurant... More

My wife and I live near Amaris and always enjoy visiting there. It's situated along Route 6A in East Sandwich, far from any other restaurants and across from the entrance to Sandy Neck Beach. The portions at Amari's are generous; you can usually count on leftovers for the next day. Prices are moderate and very good for what you get.... More
