My daughter and I stopped here for lunch because my old (not recently updated) GPS listed it as on our route home. The menu was pretty limited. But we were really hungry, so we stayed. It was 1:00pm on a Monday. It was not crowded at all. Our server was fine, but not nearly as attentive as the... read more

I hadn't been to the Bee Hive since it's early days, some 20 years ago. It had been one of my favorites way back when, so on a recent trip to the Cape we HAD to go. The decor was as I remembered with that old tavern feel. It is nice and comfortable. The prices are quite reasonable. We ordered... More

Food was pretty good. I had a reuben sandwich and my girlfriend had a prime rib sandwich. Very tasty food....just the menu was very limited.

Charming tavern with delicious food & friendly service, we try & visit at least once every time we get to the Cape. Specials are always delicious - the lobster quiche & steak salad were excellent!

Let me start by saying that I work in the hospitality business so I am probably a little more in tune than most when I eat out. This place looks like the quintessential Cape Cod eatery from the outside. Inside it certainly needs a renovation. Shabby, dirty, dark and dreary. Polyurethane peeling off our booth tabletop. The food was mediocre.... More

cosy road side tavern. old fashioned but it worked. Annie our waitress was very friendly and my clam chowder was good. Husband's clam dish was ok. tried local draught beer which was enjoyable. owner a bit off-beat but overall place was fine.

Stopped in with the FBIL after golf on a really bad windy day. Sat at the bar and ordered a reuben. He had the chicken lunch special. We both shared a seafood sampler plate as a starter. My sandwich was huge and I ended up taking half of it home for lunch the next day. Not only was it really... More

Wonderful enviroment, with live performances each night. Great food, and it was a very good price for the area. We got take out from this place three nights in a row, and each night the food was fantastic.

After a very dingy winter it was fun to find a bright spot at the Bee Hive in East Sandwich MA. It is a small tavern/restaurant with booths, candlelight, dark wood. Perfect for a snowy evening. Food was delicious and reasonable. Will go again soon

If you enjoy a nice tavern atmosphere then stop at the Beehive on Friday or Saturday night and enjoy a great prime rib with popovers or a delicious seafood entre. Tom Kelley will be playing your favorite songs especially if you like the Beatles. Always a good time. Small intimate bar if you are in the mood.
