This place is open in march (may be in winter). The portions are large and nice, the clam chowder is delicious. Onion rings are included with fisherman's platter -beware: hard to finish-.

The Original Seafood Restaurant is your classic Cape Cod fried seafood shack. Located in downtown Dennisport, it's one of the few seafood places that are open during the winter, and it was wonderful! The fried clams and scallops were done perfectly, and the lightly battered onion rings are delectable. I'm a real fried clam aficionado and these clams were outstanding,... More

Casual. Flip flops & shorts rule. Very clean. Order at the counter and wait for your number to be called. Do yourself a favor and order some clam chowder while you are waiting. Some of the best fried & broiled seafood on the Cape. Our favorites are the fried haddock & clams. Oh yeah, some people just come for the... More

We loved our food, and there was plenty of it. The Lobster was fresh and plentiful, and the onion rings were delicious. Really.

This restaurant is so clean! That's 1st 2nd. The food we had was fantastic. Fish sandwich(haddock) & cole slaw Fish sandwich (haddock) & fries Cup of chowder The food was cooked perfectly. Quickly and the dining room was enjoyable. Just what we wanted, crispy sandwich and good chowdah! Prices were ok for what we got. $24 with drinks.

Can't fault the food or the service , had broiled shrimp and fish which came with rice and coleslaw . My complaint is , when dining inside why can't we have plates and cutlery , there was a huge amount of foil containers , plastic salad boxes and numerous other containers , does no one believe in washing up

My husband and I thought the clam strips, fried oysters and frow fried shrimp were absolutely delicious! The breading was very light. The onion rings were good but greasy. We would go back for more seafood.

This is our first restaurant stop on every visit to Cape Cod. Their onion rings are to die for. However, I did notice that the portion sizes seemed to shrink (more than a little) since our last visit in April but its the summer season and I guess that's to be expected (too bad). The fish and chips are really... More

Fried seafood is awesome. Very fresh and good size portions. Nothing fancy but good food. Burgers are very good also and they have ice cream for dessert so it is a nice one stop spot.
