Nice lunch experience

My husband and I wanted a relatively quiet lunch in a nice setting, and Clancy's filled the bill. We ate on the patio, and although it was a pleasant, sunny day, the building was situated in such a way, we weren't in the blazing sun. The food was very good, and the waiter had a great sense of... read more

Lovely evening on the deck. Ordered a lovely salad and blackened tuna and their signature calves liver...and then - HORROR! The baked potato and liver was as cold as the salad and the tuna although ordered rare was served ice box cold and when I cut into it was brown, ugly and stringy as if it had been stuck in... More

Oh! We were starving and a local mentioned Clancy's after unsuccessful attempts at two other restaurants. It was busy, but we hung out in the bar before before seated outside near water. It was just starting to get dark. It wasn't on the ocean, but those waterways with gentle water and the lighted deck was just perfect. Our server, can't... More

We had a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon with 5 people. We had no wait and were seated at a table with a nice view of the river. Our waiter, from Jamaica, was very attentive and humorous. We really enjoyed him. Three of us had the Cobb salad with lobster. They were HUGE! My husband had eggs benedict from... More

We came down to cape cod for a for family vacation and were told by several people to try Clancys. We have three children and they treated us very well they were very accommodating, very friendly, and very patient. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that is looking for a nice meal that's not overpriced. We plan on having... More

At first sight seemed like a great find. Outdoor seating on the bay. Our waiter at first seemed friendly and attentive but quickly went downhill. Spilled a glass of soda behind my daughter and never acknowledged that it was on her as well as her chair. Another customer told us she should switch chairs because it was dripping on the... More

We went as a group of 6. The restaurant was packed but the wait wasn't too bad. The decor inside was nice with dining areas sectioned into different rooms. The round table made it nice for a group of our size to still all be able to talk to each other. The fisherman's platter was very good and the salmon... More

Stopped with friends this evening. Haven't been to Clancy's since the new owners took over. Very impressed. Seated right away, waiter was terrific and the food was very good. We did not wait very long for our dinners to come out although they were quite busy. I tried the clam chowder and have to say it is right at the... More

This was the best clam chowder I've had on the Cape in years! Clam strips, fish, chicken, shrimp was all very good. We waited about 45 minutes for a party of 9 on a weeknight and were not disappointed. The service was good and we had a table with a beautiful view. The room was a bit dark but the... More

Above average food. The staff is always nice. We have been returning to Clancy's as a family of 10 for years. They always accommodate us and bend over backwards to make sure our visit is wonderful. The other staff jump in to help our server. Very consistent.
