Never had a bad meal

We make it a point to visit Chapin's each time we go to the Cape and have never been disappointed. The fish is always fresh and there is always something new for an evening special.

Nice place. Totally casual with a great bar and outdoor seating. It's not near the water, but you'd never know once you get inside. Really great menu and they know how to pour a glass of wine!!!! Awesome stuffed quohogs, delicious fish and chips and a lot of other items from which to choose. It gets crowded, but the bar... More

Family type restaurant with friendly staff. Was there for lunch with some friends and the service was good. What we had was good. Warm lobster roll with butter was nice and full of lobster meat. The fried oysters were very light and tasty so was the clam chowder.

When we come to the Cape, it is only for one week, but we will eat there at least 3 times. My son, daughter-in-law and 2 grandchildren (ages 4 and 7) come up from NC and the first night it is standard to go to Chapins. The food is delicious and a wide variety to choose from. As I said,... More

I've been in there a few times for lunch and dinner. Food was ok, drinks as expected were ok, staff was very good, outside raw bar really good but a bit expensive. Good place to visit

Saturday evening and we wondered if we would be seated. It looked as if there might be a wait, but they had a table cleared and ready for us in less that 3 minutes. We shared a fish and chips platter which was more than enough. They know how to do tartar sauce!

We came here for dinner, we had a large group and they sat us pretty quick. It was a little too hot in the restaurant. Everything was in disposable cups and dishes but at least the silverware was real. Chowder was good but mostly potatoes. Meals are very big, good value, best to share. I went to the other Chapins... Looking for a good spot on Cape Cod, this is it! Food was great ... Baked Cod, my favorite, was outstanding. The scallops, chowder and clams were very good, too. Big portions, reasonable prices, spacious, and live music. Visiting my hometown from Florida, I must have these seafood favorites when in town. I was not disappointed here - thanks Chapins.
