Wonderful Fish!

This is the place for fine dining in a casual atmosphere. OK, not cheap, but worth it for the wonderful food. Especially the fresh seafood. Try the great calamari appetizer and scallops for the main course. Nice wine list and wonderful draft beers.

Service was excellent - waitress was very friendly and helpful. Food was very good and offered a different take on the seafood dishes. Creme brûlée was awesome!

We were pleasnatly surprised by the Fish -Swordfish done just right, Salmon and Schrod had wonderful sauces over it. Only thing I found dry was the panko encrusted scallops. Most expensive meal and all tasteless breadcrumbs. I had a beet salad to start-very interesting as beets were sauteed. I'd definitely go back.

My first visit was a year ago. Good ambiance, friendly staff, lots of people eat here, so I was curious. I thought the menu was rather limited. I had the lobster mac n cheese, and my friend had the Guinness short ribs. They were ok. We had the grape nut custard for dessert which was very good. I enjoyed my... More

Had occasion to visit friends on the Cape and they made reservations for Scargo. Nice friendly atmosphere. They were very busy but everything was calm and well managed. The waitperson interacted well with us and was very friendly. She made several recommendations including the beet salad, which was delicious. The entree's were well prepared, presented and delicious. We would recommend... More

Monday night low-priced/big portion prime rib ($12-18) sold out by 6:30. We didn't make it on time, but the seated patrons looked very happy with their rosy, immense portions. Our dinner [for 4] was predictably good - scallops, steak, and large chicken caesar salad [always excellent]. Make a reservation!

I really like this restaurant. It is clean, cozy and romantic, and the food is well prepared, but they don't cook simple dishes which is what I like. Too much seafood and too many nuts, both high allergens. Mac and cheese has lobster in it. What happened to simple American food? I don't want a tuna martini. I would like... More

Scargo Cafe has always been very dependable in quality food and service. The price point for what you get is very good and I do recommend making a reservation early as this establishment is very popular even during the off season. They offer a dining club rewards program which I highly recommend that you join as there are many benefits... More

Scargo is an old favorite of ours. Recent renovations opened up the interior to make the space even more pleasant. Food is always reliable, ranging from very good to excellent in flavors, and always attractively plated. Special requests & substitutions accommodated. Today I tried a new excellent dish: fried oyster po' boy with siracha mayonnaise and citrus slaw. 7 perfectly... More
