A hidden gem

Home baked breads and interesting sandwich combos. I love the Turkey, Havarti, with thinly sliced granny apple & mayo on the homemade oatmeal bread, mmmmmm! Eat here inside or out, or take it for the beach. Lots of other goodies too, salads, cheese, cookies and more. A little hard to find, but... read more

Always great for good eats and the cookies arehuge and excellent. Their selection of freshly made sandwiches makes it well worth your while to work up an appetite on the cape.

This is a terrific, local, no nonsense spot to have a coffee and pastry for breakfast while they are making you a sandwich to take to the beach. It is a foodies' delight with home made bread and goodies as well as an entire wall of sandwich offerings. Everyday they also have specials that you can eat there for lunch... More

Hidden behind the Dennis Post Office is the best little local dining experience ever! Homemade entrees, huge sandwiches, and delish dessert goodies will sate your every hunger.

Sandwich was mediocre (had boursin rouge...okay but lacked seasoning and flavor), ambiance was so-so. Would have rather spent $1.50 more and had a pickle and chips than spend more just for the pickle. Be sure to ask! Restroom was less than clean, really?! Dirt around the baseboards and in the filters. They need an overall clean up. Felt it was... More

The Mercantile has a vibe all its own, and is extremely popular with the locals, some of whom seem to spend entire mornings there. The sandwiches are excellent, but check out the creative side dishes offered, I wanted to buy a pound of each. It's a very comfortable place to visit, and we always get exactly what we ordered, and... More

What a find. Tucked away off 6a in Dennis. The coffee and food is great. Not really a restaurant, but more than a coffee shop. You can even have a small cup of good coffee instead of a gallon! Free wifi, and stay as long as you want.. Long queues at the weekend, mostly locals. Psst.... Don't tell anybody

Lots of sandwich options with very fresh meat and bread. Fast stop if you are going to the theater next door. Fun place to grab a quick bite to eat.
