Great Wine, Good Music, Interesting Art

We just heard about this place after being down on the Cape most of the summer and I sure wish we'd know about it at the beginning of the season! Each of us had our on own individualized wine flight (no losers in any of our tastings) and we all had some very yummy appetizers as well. The band... read more

Funny thing, everyone thinks 6A is the spot. Gorgeous, scenic road and great architecture. Absolutely! As for the Harvest Wine Bar, keep driving. Stopped by a few months ago for a nightcap. Loud, and impersonal. Decided to try again recently, after a show at the Cape art museum. Just as loud, and more impersonal. Guess it was our mistake, being... More

My mom and I came here for drinks and apps after catching a film at the Cape Cinema. We had a lovely chat with the bartender, who then prepared us two perfect cocktails - mine a fabulous twist on the classic Negroni, and hers a dark Manhattan. Both were delicious. We ordered the pickled egg because I'd never had one... More

We stumbled upon this place on a Saturday night when EVERY restaurant in the area had a waiting list of over an hour. The name confused us, thinking it was a wine retail store, but it was a lovely, casual restaurant with great food. We had tickets for the theater and were a bit concerned about having a relaxing dinner... More

We always try to visit at least once...usually on date night! We typically get a wine flight and a cheese appy. I love the low key feel of the Wine Bar...the servers are attentive and they are always willing to explain what you are eating/drinking. Music is fine...not too loud that you can't hear the conversation. All in all, a... More

Lighter menu tapas, oysters, ciabatta bread pizza, salads and sandwiches. If you are looking for dinner sized entrees this is not the place. A jazz band was playing... nice cozy adult atmosphere. There were two bartenders one male and one female. The male bartender took my boyfriends drink order while I studied the wine list. I chose a wine flight... More

We popped in here before visiting the Cape Playhouse which is just down the road after a recommendation. The live band playing country rock was an unexpected bonus and we enjoyed both the wine and the light meals. I had a nacho salad followed by carrot cake. The food was very fresh and healthy. Our server was really friendly and... More

I was invited to meet family for drinks here. I wouldn't have walked in otherwise as it isn't visible from the street and the front doesn't otherwise suggest a hip wine bar with friendly and skillful bartenders. Thru the doors, live music provides a soundtrack to a lively and comfortable bar. The appetizers didn't disappoint either. Shush, don't tell everyone.
