We went to breakfast with some friends and were pleased with the service, atmosphere and the food. We tried a variety of items including the Belgian Waffle, French Toast, scrambled eggs and their grapenut pudding. All of the dishes were very good, but when one of the party asked about "Real" maple syrup, our server informed us that they had... More

I was visiting a friend in Boston and we went to this little restaurant in Dedham. I was pleasantly surprised! It doesn't look like much inside or out, but the food is delicious! There was a long line out the door. We were seated after about 20 minutes. Service was prompt and friendly. This is no frills food, but worth... More

always clean, like the nostalgia decor, great food. we usually go there for Father's Day so it feels a bit rushed because a line forms in the parking lot after we get there, but when we go on a non holiday it's very nice, one of our favorites close to home.

This is a great place for diner food. There is a wide choice of breakfast and lunch items. Everything is mad to order and the portions are very generous. The pancakes and omelets are outstanding. The atmosphere is as the name suggests, 50's. Even the owner looks the Elvis part, It's a fun place and the food is outstanding. Often... More

I met some friends from out of town for breakfast at the 50s Diner on Saturday after Thanksgiving. The waitress seemed a bit out of sorts and got several orders wrong. The scrambled eggs were overpriced and a bit runny/wet. The 50's Diner is not cheap and not good either. I'd rate it below an IHOP. There is a Whole... More

Positives: good food, fair prices - good options, quick and friendly service - will definitely be going again. Inprovements: should really take checking cards at least for ease, be prepared to queue a little as it gets busy

We had absolutely no regrets or disappointments at this establishment. The décor was exactly what a 50's diner should be and was clean and convenient. No reservations are taken and a waiting line takes in customers as tables become available. Service was very efficient and staff was very friendly. The title explains the menu choices, as the 3 of us... More

I absolutely LOVE this place for breakfast. The food is amazing and the prices are great. My husband and my daughter love the pancakes - they won't get pancakes anywhere else. I have gotten the Ernie burger, pancakes, and benedict and all have been outstanding. Obviously the long wait is not fun and yes - there is always a wait... More

The food here is typical diner food, but that's a good thing!! Great breakfasts, sandwiches, bountiful salads and more! The only things is they do not take credit cards, there is an ATM in there, but be prepared to pay cash.

See above for my review. We like the breakfast menu. The coffee is awesome, the eggs are as fresh are they are in Vermont (very), Bob likes the hash and eggs. I usually have the 2 eggs and bacon, which is delicious. I also love their icetea.
