Worth driving from neighboring states. This is a trippy, time travelin' hotspot - worthy of its lines out the doors... Spero and his wife Barbara deserve a congressional medal for preserving Americana culture.

I love diners! And the 50's diner did not disappoint. Good hearty food. Fast service, no frills good old Time Diner. Love their breakfasts.

We have eaten quite a few times forbreakfast and it is always good. Just beware that it is cash only. No credit cards.

I went there today with my 7 year old son. The waitress who took our order never came back, I watched for a good 20 minutes as other customers were asked if the food was ok, if they were happy, or enjoying the day. So ridiculous not one of them ever looked at our table so I finally turned around... More

What a great place!! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. A real old-time diner with all you would expect. Fast service and huge portions.

Younger brother accompanied me, the middle brother, to a place that I hadn't been to in years. I was skeptical. After all, we were led to the very last table at the end of the dining room by an emergency exit door. But then the food came along. Both of us, co-incidentally, ordered the same item--a chicken club sandwich. This... More

If you like great old fashioned diners, this is the place in the area. Nothing else around like it. Prices and service terrific. Often have to wait so go a bit off hours. Early for breakfast or late. Sunday a tough day to get in.

Someone we met in Nantucket steered us here for breakfast our last day before flying home after our vacation. We were not disappointed! The food and service was excellent! Try the blueberry pancakes, loaded with berries, light and fluffy! Topped off with a chocolate sundae that was so big they serve it in two cups!

Never even got seated.... went in alone and my bad back wouldn't allow me to sit at the counter stool. Even though it was mid morning on a tues, and there were 4 or 5 open tables, they told me it was gonna be a while because the "single guest" table was occupied....poorly managed. I won't be back (was swatting... More

We have never been able to get near the 50's Diner before because of the lines waiting to get in. Finally, the line was short enough and in we went. Staff were nice and attentive upon seating and during the meal. This was the excellent part. The menu was ok. The usual. The food was average at best. The prices... More
