This was our first time here, but our son is very familiar with this restaurant. It's a nice little place on the water in Danversport(as I call it). Food and service were excellent and very reasonable. Great place for lunch and it has a friendly bar too!! Our son had pizza and he always raves about it.

The best thin crust pizza. Ask for it crispy. I ate at the bar. Everyone is very friendly. You usually end up talking to the person sitting next to you at the bar. Nice neighborhood family restaurant with a dining room separate from the bar.

Two of three meals served 10 minutes before the third meal. Asked for drink never arrived. Server began boxing up leftover while one person was still eating. Pricey and terrible service.

I eat at the bar in restaurants. Lots of regulars in this bar and the atmosphere is comfortable. TVs on the wall are not intrusive. The service is great, the food is very good, the pizza and Italian dished are excellent, but my favorite is the seafood. It always tastes fresh and so good. My husband and I like to... More

I was dreading picking a place to dine after going to the mall and a movie! There is only about 25 or more places to choose from In the area, all chain places that all use way to much salt that a couple hours after you eat you need a gallon of water, with tasteless food and poor quality. From the... More

Sam and Joe's food quality hasn't changed in all the years I've been a customer; many, many. The pizza is the best I've ever had anywhere. It's their ticket to greatness! Crispy crust, just the right amount of sauce and oil. A little high priced, but yummy. Good fish chowder on Fridays, very nice pasta dishes, and terrific calamari. There... More

I hadn't had Sam and Joe's pizza in years and NOW that I gave it another try - I'm addicted. The crust is super thin and it's absolutely perfect. Sauce and toppings are all incredibly tasty! The pizza only comes in one size so you might have to get TWO - it's THAT GOOD! We've been trying all kinds of... More

The wife and I headed out on aMonday to dinner, some restaurants are closed but none are busy. Had been a couple years and we were seated quickly as few were there. Funny, we were at the same table with the same waitress as last time. My wife ordered the meatball parm sub and I ordered the baked manicotti and... More
