Busy Friday night, no reservations but still got in!

We would ordinarily call for a res on Fri or Saturday nights but this night was unplanned and we took a chance. The bar and main dining area were jammed but the hostess was intent on trying to find space for us without an hour wait. We were grateful to be seated in the second room which has... read more

My husband and I have been wanting to go to Bia for some time now, as is gets good reviews. We recently went and were hoping for better. The atmosphere is nice. A bit cozy and relaxed. I started with oysters, which were great, and my husband got a salad, which was ok. We each ordered their special that night,... More

Bia is a really charming place to meet up with friends for a very nice dinner experience. The waiters are charming and knowledgable and the food is really good. Only minus was that a scarf or sweater might be nice in the winter time since it can be a little chilly

The food is very good. The escargot is not up to the rest of the menu. The service is weak. Not clearing the appetizer plates before the entire arrives is a pet peeve of mine. If the staff sharpens up it would be a local staple.

Food is always great but service is spotty. Flat breads are a major highlight as are the specials most nights.

The ever quaint Bia is about to change it's menu to reflect Spring and Summer 's bounty. Last night we got a peek of that change with the salmon entree resting on a bed of nutty grains including the ever popular quinoa, broccoli rabe and sections of orange and grapefruit . The Fall/ Winter menu still served up a hearty... More

You can blame us for arriving on a Saturday night at 7:30 without reservations, but we were assured by the hostess that the wait would not be more than a half hour. So the four of us made or way to the bar and found two seats and enough standing room for drinks. One round turned to two and now... More

When our favorite south shore Italian restaurant closed, we were distraught. When we decided to cast our net farther than Hull, the beautiful town of Cohasset came to mind. The food is fabulous and the service very good. The menu has some real bargains, from a great hamburger, a variety of flat breads and some excellent steaks and chicken. The... More

We went to an event at the South Shore Music Circus that is very nearby. The event was at 7:30 so we made a reservation for 6:00. Just the two of us. There was almost no one there when we arrived, but we were seated at a 2 person hi-top against a back wall in the bar at the rear... More

I go here a lot. Why? They have the best food in the area, by far. The service is friendly, restaurant is cozy and the bar is tiny so expect a wait on weekends. I absolutely love that some of their dishes have a split option so for smaller people you don't have to eat so much! Their flatbreads are... More
