Great holiday spirit- decorations, entertainment. The best German specialties in the area (and there are several German restaurants).... More

High quality authentic German food. They make their sausages and sauerkraut on location. What really is great is in the summer when their beer garden is open. Its a patio with an outdoor bar, dining tables and stools. They do an all you can eat BBQ outside as well and on weekends live bands. Stop by in the summer for... More

Munich House has to be one of the best restaurants in the area. Everything I ate was delicious and well-seasoned. I came to the conclusion that everything here will taste good. There is a good selection of beers that you normally don’t find and they are even that is more flavorful than typical beers. I recommend Okocim, which is a... More

Ate here while visiting family and really enjoyed my meal. Very crowded and the noise could be a bit much but still a great experience. I started with the Goulasch soup. Excellent choice! Rich with just enough spice. Truly the best I've had outside of Germany. For dinner I had the schnitzel sampler platter. It had three large schnitzels on... More

Pleasant German style atmosphere and the female waitstaff all look like colorful versions of Heidi. DIdn't see male waitstaff in Leiderhosen, though! Menu selections are copius, with our favorites being the Jaegersnitzel and Chicken Forestiere. Tender, well seasoned, and filling. During the Fall and Winter, the Butternut squash side dish is incredibly good. Like the house made potato chips and... More

Our German family had a birthday supper on 12/13/14 for my brother. We had reservations for 5pm. The place was already packed. Parking is a big issue there. Maybe because we do not know the Chicopee area . Anyway around the resturant it was slim. The place had a real good energy-very fun. Most of us had the Bavarian platter.... More

Although there are a couple of other German restaurants in the area that others like, this place never fails to impress! This time of year is a special treat since it is so tastefully decorated for the holidays. The food is fabulous; the schnitzels and spaetzels are unbelievably good. The salad is always the best I have ever had because... More

We were on our way to Amherst and heard the commercial for this place on the radio. Went for lunch sunday afternoon around 1. Place was empty, but filled up quickly. Had a bunch of appetizers. ALL were GREAT! Pretzel was nice and light, with just the right amount of salt. Sample platter had a little of everything. Kangaroo (YES,... More
