Comedy night

this is a little late.. we can to watch Loni Love last month. The space is nice the room is large yet small enough to give that intimate setting. the food was ok.. large portions, normal fried Chinese food. We plan to go to more comedy show there

Been eating here since a lad. They have pumped some serious money into the facility and they now offer a buffet-style lunch and make-your-own stir-fry. Thing is, I am not a Chinese chef, and when I try to cook my own, it's not that great. better to leave it to the experts than determine you own ratios of garlic sauce... More

I've had some bad Asian/Chinese food, but this place was just awful. Went last Saturday with 7 other girls after a fun day of bridesmaid shopping. The place was pretty empty being a Saturday afternoon. Good for us bc we were all starving. Heard good things about it here so wanted to give a try.. Waitress seated us and did... More

My wife and I and 2 other couples went for an early New Year's Eve supper at this restaurant. The food was very good, but the noise level was off the charts. We understood that it was a kid friendly party.but it was more than we bargained for. Kids were running around everywhere, and standing on their seats when the show... More

Had heard about the Hu Ke Lau for years and had to try it on a visit to Western Mass last summer. The buffet was plentiful and the food was tasty. Lots of entertainment from singers to comedians too available.

Right off the mass Pike at Exit 5, The Hu Ke Lau has been one of Western Mass' treasures for over 40 years. They have the whole Polynesian thing down pat from the amazing variety of dishes from Pu Pu Platters to General Cho's Chicken. They have the drinks to go along with food - if you want a Scorpion Bowl... More

I love kitschy polynesian bars/restaurants and found this place via crtikiki.com, a website devoted to tiki culture. My friend and I had a great time. The food was OK chinese food, the drinks ok, but we especially like the souvenir mugs we purchased, from which we drank. The place has a great vintage tiki style decor and looked like it... More

This was our second trip to Hu Ke Lau to see a comedy show. Drinks are very good (order an SOS to be enlightened!) but the food is mediocre. Hint - ask for an alternate menu. The Polynesian options are fair at best. Very pricey. Go to the Hu Ke Lau for their shows, not for their food.

Went for lunch, had the buffet. Everything we tasted in the buffet was gross. It tasted like the food had been sitting too long and dried out. The only thing we enjoyed was the stir fry, where you can choose from different noodles or rice and veggies and chicken or beef... The chef cooks your your selections in front if... More

We were told that the tiki atmosphere in this place was pretty special and we weren't disappointed. It had an old school tiki feel complete with shows and statuary all around. It was nicely lit and clean. The drinks were strong and potent as any tiki bar should be. The service was quick and attentive; our waitress made some really... More
