Good entertainment, mediocre food.

First time visiting Hu Ke lau I was expecting amazing food and good entertainment. They did not fail to make us laugh and dance with their Polynesian band. However, we waited a while for our drinks and meals. Once we got our meals, the quality was not something out of this planet. The rice was over... read more

Had a 715 reservation was not seated until 8. We were told that the restaurant was busy, when we entered the dining room it was not busy. We ordered a poo poo platter and there were no ribs on it when we asked our waitress about the ribs she said that we could trade some chicken fingers for ribs what... More

My friend and I went to the Friday pm Hawaiian show. Stopped for an tasty (and strong!) island drink at the bar before dinner. We were seated promptly and had an enjoyable dinner. The menu had many choices and the server was quick to answer any questions. The portions were generous and the food was enjoyable. There was a small... More

I liked the food, and the Hawaiian show. We are going back next month for another show. The food was great but the drinks were a bit weak. Many shops and stores nearby. The only bad thing was they automatically add 18% gratuity so the wait staff was not as good since they knew they were getting a tip anyway.

We love the nostalgic feel of the restaurant and the scorpion bowls...however when we asked for condiments, like hot Asian sauce, we were told it's extra. When we asked for the used-to-be-free crispy noodles, we were told that's extra. All of this resulted in a bad feeling, the building is old, as is the broke-down lunch buffet. Go to your... More

I had dinner heere and watched a Hawaiian dinner show. The portions are big, food has decent flavor and the prices are good. I was charged $5 per person at our table for watching the show. There is a dining room you can eat in without a show that does not have the "cover charge". The service was attentive and... More

If you a looking for a fun venue to see a show and have dinner and drinks then this place is for you. They have comedians, and more, check their web site for up coming events. We saw Bob Marley, a New England comedian. Drinks were yum as well as the food you can order a pu pu plater or... More

Been eating here since a lad. They have pumped some serious money into the facility and they now offer a buffet-style lunch and make-your-own stir-fry. Thing is, I am not a Chinese chef, and when I try to cook my own, it's not that great. better to leave it to the experts than determine you own ratios of garlic sauce... More

I've had some bad Asian/Chinese food, but this place was just awful. Went last Saturday with 7 other girls after a fun day of bridesmaid shopping. The place was pretty empty being a Saturday afternoon. Good for us bc we were all starving. Heard good things about it here so wanted to give a try.. Waitress seated us and did... More
