This was our second trip to Hu Ke Lau to see a comedy show. Drinks are very good (order an SOS to be enlightened!) but the food is mediocre. Hint - ask for an alternate menu. The Polynesian options are fair at best. Very pricey. Go to the Hu Ke Lau for their shows, not for their food.

Went for lunch, had the buffet. Everything we tasted in the buffet was gross. It tasted like the food had been sitting too long and dried out. The only thing we enjoyed was the stir fry, where you can choose from different noodles or rice and veggies and chicken or beef... The chef cooks your your selections in front if... More

We were told that the tiki atmosphere in this place was pretty special and we weren't disappointed. It had an old school tiki feel complete with shows and statuary all around. It was nicely lit and clean. The drinks were strong and potent as any tiki bar should be. The service was quick and attentive; our waitress made some really... More

Had won a lobster palooza fest to this restaurant from a loca l radio station. Made reservations as required. Upon arrival, checked in with the hostess. Had my name on list for 2 lobster dinners. Waitress said nothing came with the lobsters but lobster but could order sides from the menu. Okay, decided on salad. Went to the salad bar ,llittle... More

Hadn't been in quite a while and it seemed more dated than I remembered. Waiter didn't seem very enthusiastic, almost like we were keeping him from something. Sushi was good and fillets and peapods was tasty. Appetizers were good for all to share.

wen't here after being insulted again by the Dugout pizza (see my other review). the food was actually way better than I was expecting and not super overpriced like I was expecting. waitstaff was great, cheerful and prompt. the only thing that I had any form of problem with was the fact that the place was empty and it was... Food was good, like it was the last time before. However, waiter seemed annoyed that he had to work and had a attitude.

We visited the restaurant to watch a comedian. The show was great but they crammed us onto very long buffet tables like sardines. It was way too tight and you could barely move your arms. So I honestly don't recommend going to shows there unless you have a booth! We ordered the coconut shrimp and crab rangoons to play it... More

I heard the food here was not great, but couldn't believe that it could this bad. My wife and I ordered the avocado salad and Buddhists Delight for dinner last night. After We told our server that the salad was awful (should have been thrown out, not served.) she said she was sorry but charged us anyway. The entree was... More

went to see George Lopez who was phenomenal... however that was the only good thing. The place was overpacked (6 ppl crowded in a booth) and on top of the ticket price they have a $10 min per person. And they charged an automatic 18% gratuity for a party of 2. Service sucked with the waitress consistently messing up orders and... More
