I would have never guessed I was eating at a restaurant in Chelmsford from the look and feel of Fishbones; it has an almost beachy ambiance. The restaurant was well suited for date night or a family dinner, and we saw lots of both. The seafood selection is great, and the food was well prepared. We ordered the clams appetizer,... More

walked in without a reservation and got seated on a busy night in less than 20 min's , the service was great and accommodating and the waitress had much patience with us even after spilling a drink on the floor and to top it off replaced it free of charge ,out of the appetizers we got were shrimp cocktail they... When a "20 minute" wait turns into 90 minutes something is wrong. The restaurant is extraordinarily noisy. Seafood used to be good but think they are trying to increase margins by cheapening it now. Seafood casserole had this awful topping - like canned breadcrumbs soaked with butter. It was not crispy or fresh and ruined what could have been a... More

We had a wonderful business dinner early June at Fishbones in Chelmsford. It was a lovely evening out and we ate outside. The food was of high quality and everyone enjoyed their meals. The restaurant also made extravagent bloody marys and had a good wine list. I have a fantastic salad as my meal and enjoyed the key lime pie... More

For those that will go out of their way to find great seafood, this is the place. Parking is tough to find, I parked at the library up the street. The restaurant is small and very busy, and they don't take reservations, but the food makes it all worth it. The seafood is fresh and cooked to absolute perfection, the... More

Even though we arrived on a busy evening service with no reservations the team couldn't have been more accommodating. Excellent front of house service, really good menu and the food lived up to expectations.

I had a dish of grilled salmon served with basmati rice, and it was definitely the best seafood I have eaten in a long time. Yes, it is a bit crowded and seats are hard to find, but the wait is worth it.

This restaurant was recommended to my sister and I by hotel staff in Lowell. They couldn't have done better! In fact we went back a second day instead of finding another restaurant. The selection was varied, the food was fresh, lightly breaded, and not overly spiced as many restaurants do nowadays.

Since my wife and I were just starting our weeklong vacation but were spending it at home, we decided to act as though we were visiting a destination city, and spent a good deal of time and effort in researching the best seafood restaurant we could find within 25 miles of our home, Despite living near Boston, Quincy, Salem, Essex,... If you're looking for a great seafood meal, this is where you should go. The food is delicious. The portions are huge. Plan to bring home leftovers. They make a really good Bloody Mary, ask for the Fishbones Bloody Mary, you won't be sorry. It's a bit pricey, bit totally worth it. The only drawback here is the wait. They... More
