Staff is friendly and accommodating. This is great seafood. Steamed lobster is sweet and tender. Great seafood menu for all tastes. Atmosphere is casual and friendly. Great place to go for a few drinks and great seafood at the spur of the moment. Dining is a bit noisy but not objectionable.

So, the fish here is always great, but... Parking is sometimes a struggle No reservations accepted And, worse of all the restaurant is just too noisy so it is is almost impossible to have a decent conversation. Service and everything else is great. Maybe it's better to eat late or come for lunch.

excellent food but a bit tight in the seating. I especially like the fish and chips. The cole slaw is so creamy, the fish is flaky and well cooked, the fries are very tasty and crisp.

This was our 2nd visit to Fishbones in a month. There are many pluses and a few minuses. The restaurant is quite small, they don't take reservations but you can be placed on an oncall list by mid-afternoon. We have always had to wait a minimum of 30 min before being seated. Both times we sat near the bar area... More

This was my secon visit to Fishbones. We ate outside and had a delicious lunch: crab sandwich and the fish sandwich, then we slit the Key Lime pie for dessert. The service was excellent. I find the prices to be a tad on the high side, given its location. The inside dining room is tight, but outside on a beautiful... More

Fishbones provides an upscale dining option without a commute. The food is always fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. It's better than many upscale seafood restaurants in Boston. We had a late lunch on the patio. The patio has sun shades across the top of the pergola and along the side bushes. Dog- diners, take note. Last summer, it was dog... More

Fishbones in the Village is an outstanding, upscale, seafood restaurant. It is by far the best restaurant and the nicest place to dine out in Chelmsford and the surrounding areas. The fried calamari was excellent as an appetizer, and my wife gave the cocktails an A+ rating. I had Sashimi for dinner and it was great. The place is always... More

It's definitely the best restaurant in Chelmsford, but I wanted to give it more credit than that. Fishbones is just a great place. Great food, atmosphere, service, and location. The seafood is fantastic, and the filet mignon at the next table looked really good too (although I've never had it). My daughter treated for Father's Day and Fishbones was my... More

Always enjoy eating here -- as some have fairly noted, it can be noisy --- What works best for me is to time visits as to hit "off peak" hours if a quieter experience is what I'm seeking on any given day...Sometimes the clinking of glassware and chatter is fun but it can be bit elbow-to-elbow tight -- then again... This place was a real bell ringer! A broad range of seafood as fresh as could be and properly cooked. Need I say more. Service was great and we were a table of 11. Broad range of appetizers to tantalize any palate. Also a great selection of specials. Clean, crisp décor but just a tad noisy. Overall a great dining... More
