Food is always great, cocktails are always great, the prices are expensive but food is good enough to justify. The 1 negative I would give is that the portions are too small. I got the chilean sea bass special, very tasty but gone in 5 bites. The rice portion is tiny also which makes no sense because rice is so... More

Fishbones is always one of the most crowded restaurants in Chelmsford. To their credit, they handle the crowds as best they can (which means the tables are a little closer together than in other restauarants, and they make good use of the outdoor seating area). The menu has a decent selection of different seafoods (and a burger for non-fish-lovers) and... More

What a wonderful find! We joined some friends at Fishbones for a delicious dinner the other night. The service was good, the food was wonderful -- I had a Tuscan salad witha very generous portion of Lobster salad that was full of delicious dark greens, savory Kalamata olives and a ton of roasted red peppers that I pushed to the... This place has some of the best fish outside of Boston and the Cape. For people that don't like fish the burger and french fries are better than almost anywhere.

The food is always great here. Service is wonderful. Two negative comments. The tables in the front room are too close together and it is hard to have private conversations. The other negative( for me) but positive for the restaurant is that they are always so busy that one must plan to go during off times to ensure that you... More

Recently visited with my wife and a friend. After having previously visited several times, and having left very satisfied, our most recent visit was disappointing. Although the clam chowder was filled with tender clams and potatoes, it was not served nearly warm enough. Our friend had also ordered the clam chowder and complained of the same fact. My wife had... Great fish dishes and nice atmosphere, parking tricky as it is in the center of town. Parking is available but easy to miss the entrance.

Nicely prepared, gourmet seafood in a nice atmosphere. However, it is very crowded and over priced. Our family are locals and the food is reportedly always very good. Resort casual dining. Although children are welcome, I wouldn't bring them unless they were teenagers.

We happened to stay in this area as we traveled back to the Midwest after visiting the east coast (mostly Maine) for two weeks. My hubby and I didn't want anything heavy and so we ordered the Lobster Roll. Maybe it would have been okay if we hadn't just eaten Lobster Rolls all over the east coast for two weeks,... More

Have visited Fishbones several times and there is always something to annoy you. Most of their food is good, but there is always a zinger waiting for you. Chief among the disappointments is the "we are out of this special or that special". Granted, this is a fresh fish restaurant. But when you buy fish on Thursday for your Thursday,... More
