Good food, too noisty

The seafood was delicious, however the restaurant is a bit cramped. I wish we had sat at the bar. I would not recommend this place on a weekend. A bit expensive for the amount of food.

I have always had a great meal. Wait staff excellent. They have the best fried clams as a appetizer that can be a meal if you order a side of cole slaw (delicious). They have a Mixed Grill that is excellent and good value. I love this restaurant!

This was a repeat visit because Fishbones is so good. The George's Bank sea scallops, fried, are the best I have ever had in all my 75 years. They are consistently excellent. Similarly, my Wife's haddock was superb. You choose two side dishes from about ten excellent choices. My wife chose a salad and sweet potato fries that were as... More

Meals and service are great. A little loud in the dining area, but I don't think they can do much about that. The desserts are also very good. Plan to visit the bar with my wife for just drinks and a dessert. Expect that to be a nice date.

Every time I visit Chelmsford on business I visit Fishbones at least two during my stay ... the food and the atmosphere are both vibrant. I have been there at least 6 times in the last six months and I have never been disappointed - from lunch to dinner. I highly recommend it ... if you like seafood :) ...

This restaurant was a real surprise in what looks like a sleepy little village. The food was excellent and the ambiance was upbeat, if rather noisy. If they could do something about the acoustics, it would be unbeatable. They obviously specialize in fish, and it is cooked just right. Most meals come with two sides. The wait staff is very... Best scallops ever. Also great filets. Ate there twice because of the fun atmosphere and excellent service. You just can't go wrong here!

We stayed in a Courtyard Hotel in Lowell, the next town over. This restaurant was recommended by the hotel, so we tried it. Chelmsford is a cute little upscale town and a big contrast to the lower socioeconomic atmosphere of Lowell. The restaurant was very noisy and there was a bit of a wait, but once the food came...OMG! Seriously,... More

I was looking at their menu on line and knew exactly what I was going to order...clam chowder..baked stuffed shrimp..and according to reviews not to be missed onion rings.. Clam chowder was so thick you could have used a fork to eat it also my waitress forgot my appetizer ....she had to be reminded when everyone else got theirs....and the... More
