Surprisingly Good

Was in Chelmsford this past week and was really surprised to find a restaurant like this in a smaller town. The Filet Mignon was done just right as I had ordered (medium rare). Our server was polite and knowledgeable with quick service despite the restaurant being quite busy. If your looking for a... read more

We took our family to Moonstones tonight and the food was wonderful and so was the wait staff. Very friendly and accommodating. It's pricey but worth it, we thought, until the end of the evening when my son-in-law took our baby grandson to change his diaper. One of the waiters told him there was no changing table in the men's... More

I ate at Moonstones because is was next door to my hotel. What a grey surprise. Very hip yet peaceful decor. They describe their menu a "international" and the food was top notch.

Enjoyed visit to the lounge - the Tapas get better each visit. Love the larger tapas selection & theme inspired specials. (French Gourmet) during this visit. Waiter was quite the craft beer enthusiast. Welcomed his knowledge and suggestions.

We went there for business dinner, large party. The restaurant looks charming, with good atmosphere. Service is OK. But the promise of the food quality does not deserve any applause, there is nothing really special and quantity/quality/price ratio is not worth, too expensive.

Wonderful atmosphere, fantastic food. I was staying at the Best Western Plus Hotel which is in the same parking lot.

We had an excellent experience at Moonstones for a retirement dinner. There was an amazing variety of small plates to sample; we enjoyed passing them around for all to enjoy. Am glad we saved just enough room for dessert, for these were outstanding as well. The waitress was knowledgeable and service prompt and courteous. It was a lot of money,... More

Have now visited twice with my family and we were amazed at the level of great and friendly service. Very good and unique selection of foods. Also very good selection of craft beers.

We went to Moonstones on a Friday night at around 9pm. We found out that Moonstones is a popular place and you really need a reservation. However, Moonstones had a small empty lit up room to the right of the reception desk which they use for groups. Since the room was lighted and the tables set, we asked if we... More
