We stopped in for lunch, The outdoors on the water was very nice, The valet parking was fantastic, Very nice people through out. Food was ok, Drinks VERY over priced 6.50 for a draft beer and 14.00 for a cosmo??? Thats throwing your money away and being vilolated. Try the Impudent Oyster just down the road for lunch or dinner,... more

This place is ridiculously over priced. The ambiance sucks and the food isn't much better. We had three courses and kept hoping that the next one would be better. Caesar salad? try romaine butt ends with old, soggy microscopic croutons, with dressing that tastes like old socks. Lobster quesadilla? try rubbery lobster like substance on some thin pancakes for three... more

My recent experience at the Chatham Bars Inn was nothing short of catastophically disastrous. Inept service, shoddy presentation, horribly cooked food, and extraordinarily overpriced. Avoid this establishment at all costs. Drive down the road for a better view and much friendlier people. The point of my visit was to honor and celebrate a dear friend's life service to her job;... more

Service was just OK, slow to come around to take order and deliver. Prices were very high ($12 per glass of wine). Valet parking was hectic. Best thing I can say was the view was outstanding. If not for the luxurious surrondings would skip. more

Spent the week of 08/16/08 through 08/23/08 in ,Chatham, and decided to spend an evening at the Chatham Bars Inn,Beach Grill buffet. We selected the Carribean night from the menus we reviewed. It was a fixed price of $69.00 per person as we had rented a private home and were not staying at the hotel. There were five in our... more

Totally disagree with the previous reviews. We have gone for 5 yrs in a row for both work and personal events (most recently 2 weeks ago) and the place is beautiful with extremely attentive service. The food has consistently improved over the last few years and this year was excellent. They have a huge array of activities for all ages... more

Thank heaven we were using gift certificates --- we'd have had a fit if it were our own money! Egregious service, limited menu, careless execution of the food. It was okay at about one third of the price. Don't bother! more

Travel comrades...save your money and look somewhere else! Whilst visiting friends in Chatham over the July 4th weekend, we had the displeasure of experiencing the truly mediocre Main Dining area of the Inn. Our server was charming, but we had to endure 45-60 minute waits between courses! It became unbearable at one point. To add insult to injury, the food... more

Screaming children, crying babies and toddlers, children running about; that was our impression of every dining experience at CBI restaurants. While staying at CBI we attempted to dine on the property 3 times with the same impression every time. The reason: service is non-existent. You wait, and wait and wait. For water, for menus, as long as 45 minutes for... more
