WAITED TOO LONG TO TRY VERS

Our friend and "dinner buddies" were free last weekend so we decided to finally try VERS! It is located at the back of the new Chatham Orpheum Theater in Chatham. We were only able to get a reservation for 5pm, so we took it! Upon arrival at 4:55pm, the sign indicated CLOSED and then, promptly at... read more

Based on the TripAdvisor ratings, we booked a Friday night dinner here and would come back in a heartbeat. Modest in decor, this small restaurant sits in the basement of the Orpheum theater. With five or so tables, seating around 14 diners plus another 5 at the contemporary bar, reservations are a good idea. Our waiter handled the entire restaurant... More

The Chatham Orpheum Theater is a great community theater with the best popcorn (real butter). The building also houses the Vers Restaurant to which we retired after the movie. We ate upstairs in the movie lobby, but you can dine downstairs also. The dinner service usually starts at 5 PM, but we exited the movie around 4:30. Not to worry... More

Small -- seats 18 in dining room -- but wonderful combinations of tastes and textures with great service and reasonable prices. Should not be missed.

I live to eat. The food that this restaurant creates is world-class. The food is beautiful with subtle and unique flavors. unlike so many other fine dining spots which cook with too much butter and cream, Vers cuisine never leaves me feeling guilty and fat. I can't wait to return!

This was a truly unique dining experience. The food was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The dishes were creative and unexpected--a true foodie's dream. The restaurant is small with no reception area. The decor is tasteful, but simple--great for breakfast or lunch, but it felt slightly informal for dinner. We were seated near the door during a snowstorm--a little chilly... More

We haven't yet had the opportunity to experience vers for dinner but we did have a fantastic lunch recently. We ate in the front part of the restaurant for a quick lunch and the food was very good and reasonably priced. One of the best burgers ever! Go for the bacon and just pretend "vacation" calories don't count :)

...we bought a house in Chatham! (Half kidding!) Coming into Chatham Friday night after dealing with Boston commuter traffic, we needed a good meal and good wine to start our third weekend in four of house-hunting in Chatham and Falmouth. Our former #1 fav was packed as usual so we TripAdvisor'd and found Vers who could seat us. Well, Jonathan... More

Food was absolutely amazing and unique! The menu blew us away! It is a small restaurant so call ahead- also go for the truth or dare desert!

We did not enjoy Vers. The hospitality was warm, which we appreciated, but the food was overly precious. In between the bread and the yummy raspberry jellies presented with the check, little about our meals was recognizable; the main ingredients and their strengths were lost in too-careful compositions of emulsions, smears, and tartares. We soldiered on, with high hopes for... More
