If you are looking for a good no frills breakfast or lunch when you are visiting Chatham, this is the only place to go. The decor is basic with humorous quotes on the walls. The food is freshly prepared in front of you and is very good breakfast/burger fare at a reasonable price. Coffee is served the old fashioned way... More

For Asians, this restaurant looks like what we only see on tv - it's a classic American Diner with very friendly owners, very nice interior design and where food is comforting. My family loved ordering corned beef hash every morning. One time, we left my baby's blanket and the owner was nice enough to run and catch us at the... More

Don't get me wrong - there's nothing bad about Sandi's (unless you want to pay by credit card) just nothing truly special. The dining room is clean but looks like it hasn't changed since the 1960s, the service fast and friendly by an army of older waitresses and the menu extensive enough to satisfy most everybody. The pancakes and French... More

Happened upon Sandi's on a Sunday while taking some vacation time on the Cape this summer. Chatham is such a nice town, and for the most part - people were really friendly. We walked into this diner at about 10 am. Looked like a down-home, no nonsense restaurant - and the food looked great. Bottom line - I can't recall... More

Standard diner fare- well made and not greasy! I also thought they did a great job preparing food from scratch and the place seemed very clean!

My husband and I were in Chatham Mass over the past several days. The B/B were had been going to for 8 years closed so we had go find a new breakfast place. We figured we would 'try' Sandy's Diner just for ha-ha's. Boy, were we wrong. This place is exceptional, from the selection of daily breakfast specials to the... More

Walking in, the place looks like a dump. It's dirty and crowded (in terms of furniture, not customers). To start off our meal, the waitress came and asked if we wanted coffee, and then promptly disappeared and forgot about those coffees. When we asked another waitress, she yelled across the diner asking ours to get us some coffee, and after... More

This is just your standard diner. Nothing special other than location. If you want scambled eggs and toast, this is your place. Service however was fair to poor and the AC was awful.

On a very busy weekday this summer we were surprised that no-one was in Sandi's for lunch. It was our first time back in a couple of years and we soon learned why the place was empty. For years the service was a bit surly to everyone but the local regulars, but we learned to ignore that to have a... More

Where to begin? Sandi's Diner at first appeared to offer a certain hometown charm, as we sat down at the counter for breakfast. However, our first impression was soon shattered as we noticed the extreme shabbiness of the restaurant, the pitiful equipment behind the counter and the lackluster approach to cleanliness in the kitchen. The food was basic to the... More
