This is the best place to eat in Chatham, and it has some stiff competition. Outstanding menu, service and wine list. Wish we had found this earlier than our last night!
This restaurant has good food although fairly expensive. They also have outside seating if the weather is warm enough. If can be difficlt to find as the adress is the main street but it is really back off the street in a square, which has a pizza place on the corner of it and the main street.
No reservation was necessary on this columbus day monday but while we were there the restaurant filled. Bistro ambiance with nice subtle decor gave a nice feel to this Monday night. Cocktails were well made and delicious. My only real complaint was that no bread basket appeared. I had read that the breads were delicious and only assume that because... More
Fabulous drinks, fabulous, inspired cuisine! The rib eye ( with portobello, reduction etc) was phenomenal, the house smoked salmon was melt in you mouth fabulous.
We've enjoyed eating at Vinings in the past but the new location is even better than before. The tables are nicely spaced apart and the decor is simple, contemporary and elegant. The menu seems to have expanded offering a nice variety of smaller dishes and appetizers for those of us with smaller appetites. The mussels appetizer was ample for a... More

Simply put, wonderful food is being prepared here and served efficiently in a pleasant setting. We've lived in Chatham for over 25 years, so we have followed the ups... More

Fish was okay. Spinach salad with portabella mushrooms, feta and balsamic dressing was soggy and other than the feta, had no flavor. Burger... More

The Bistro was recommended by the concierge at Chatham Bars (where the restaurants were booked for the evening) and we were glad they did. We were seated immediately. Service was friendly and efficient and the food was... More
I have been a fan of this Chatham favorite for years. They have recently moved to a different site, slightly behind where they used to be, with indoor and outdoor seating. The new site is nice, and the menu remains excellent, but the service has slipped a bit. Both nights I dined here, I was early enough that I should... More
