My husband and I went there to have a couple of drinks and watch a game. The waitress that we had was completely rude and has no business being a waitress. She would not let us sit at a table where we could watch the game and we felt pressured to order food when we really did not want to.... More

Stopped here for a few drinks before going to a get-together. Waitress/Hostess turned us away when we said we were stopping in for drinks and an appetizer. She told the three of us we couldn't have a table and pushed us towards the bar assuring us there were seats down there. There were none and thus we left. Definitely not... More

if you are looking for a restaurant, keep searching. There were maybe 10 tables, noisy. I should have listened to the last revier's advice "fish and chips just so-so" its the truth. same with the chowder, and the service. If you are into a lively bar scene, with local flare, this is the place to go. if i had been... More

We visited Red Nun this past weekend and thought overall it was average. Prices seemed a little high for the quality of food. Jerk chicken wrap was pretty good but the fish and chips were just ok.

We were driving around, and sorta stumbled across this place. Good food, good local beer, and great staff. We happened upon their trivia night, which was a blast, and although we lost brutally (because as a Canadian, what would I know about Boston Mayors haha, no hard feelings). This is obviously a locals hang out, and I will be back... More

Checking out the food offerings on Trip Advisor we found this Bar and Grill. It has a somewhat limited food offering, but the actual preparation is outstanding. The size of this restaurant is somewhat limited so be prepared to wait at the bar, but enjoy! Good beer selection, small, but varied food selection - excellently prepared and a limited wine... More

A quick ride to the drinking village with the fishing problem brings you to the Red Nun in Chatham. A smallish, quaint, neighborhood bar awaits with all the local charm and resident story-tellers you might need. On Wednesday nights they offer the $6 burger for all types on the menu except the Nun burger. These are usually $10+. Big, juicy,... More

I just thought I'd post that this place was not open this Feb 2013, but I think it usually is open during the winter. I was told that they've been working on renovations. Maybe next time.

This is a small place that I have been wanting to try for a while. I didn't want to do it in season because it gets really crowded and the wait is longer than I believe anyone should wait for any restaurant. We decided to go when we were in town in January and we were encouraged by some local... More
