Enjoyable lunch, outside dining surrounded by shrubs. On busy Route 28. If you like thick chowder you will like. Friends enjoyed, too thick for me. Salads were good, and burgers excellent. Hornets liked our table, ugg, joys of outside dining. Season is short, must eat outside when the sun is shining. Lots of menu choices.

Red Nun is a great place to go for dinner. There burgers are very good and it is right near the Chatham Anglers baseball field.

Loved the feel of this place the minute we walked in. It is just off the touristy Main street area. A true local hangout. The burgers are great, and the beer cold. Who could ask for more...oh, and a nice barkeep too!

When we vacation in Chatham, the Red Nun is out first stop for lunch when we arrive in town. The fish taco's a great and are a must try. The calm chowder is the best I've ever had! You can't visit the Red Nun and not have the chowder! Though the Red Nun is small and can be noisy, it... More

Went for the first time while on vacation. Sat outside and were greeted quickly. Seating is close to the street and the road noise was a bit of turn off. Started with their clam chowder which had a nice light creamy clam taste. Followed with a small serving of baked scallops that came out a little dry and lacking in... More

The seating was either outside or in the bar, it was very noisy, it seemed like only a few of the staff was actually working, the rest were standing around. It took quite awhile to get our food but it was tasty and the price wasn't bad.

We were surprised to find that the Red Nun also offered outdoor seating. We had a nice lunch but enjoyed it more being outside on a beautiful day!

This was our first visit to this place. Overall the food was decent and the service respectable. I will have to say that the place is a bit "dirty". The floor appeared to have not been seriously mopped in a long time. My 18 year old son told my husband to beware of the bathrooms. This makes me wonder what... More

Chatham can get crowded on weekend evening. We called ahead and got a table. The food was very good at a reasonable price. The service was very nice.

It was a wild night , power off in town due to a hail storm, the place was jammed, noisy , but fun and wine and food were just fine. I would dine here again.
