We stopped here for lunch and the sandwiches were great. We ate outside at the picnic tables on the main street, and being mid September relished every minute. I am glutin free and they had delicous herb glutin- free bread from sweet without wheat.

Staff weren't friendly. Food was pretty good. Prices not great. Plenty of other options for breakfast. Why put coffee pots out if you're out of that type of coffee?

Hello Sinbad06, I am sorry for your disappointment during your recent visit to our Café. Customer service with a smile is part of our employee training and I will definitely review this policy with all employees again. As for our coffee pots, I agree with you. While occasionally a coffee pot can be drained in a few minutes, we did... More

You can dine in this cute little place, but there's no air conditioning. There are a few picnic tables out front. My kids and I bike here in the mornings to get breakfast sandwiches or bagels and I get my latte. Food is good. Service is fairly quick and sometimes friendly, depending on who is working. I hated that the... More

Hello SecretVagabond, Thank you for taking the time to tell people how much you enjoy our Café and most especially your Latte! And you are right about the trees out front. While we also hated to see them go they were not healthy, so our landlord decided to remove them. More

Although you have to wait a while to order during peak times, the wait is worth it. The bagels are great, if they get your order right. I think the language barrier for some of the employees is the issue. Very friendly; they just need to tweak the consistency of their service!

Hello CT Traveler, I apologize for the wait during peak times! As you know, summertime in Chatham is amazingly busy wherever you go! It is true that we have many employees for whom English is their second language. Unfortunately, without these foreign students, businesses on Cape Cod would be at a loss for staffing. I will also take your advice... More

Have been going here for many years and the one thing that always stays the same is the high quality of the breakfast food and the consistently good sandwiches. The muffins are without a doubt the best in town and when the coffee carafes aren't empty the coffee is excellent. Unfortunately the staff behind the counter is never as good... More

Hello Blake Nyc, Thank you for taking the time to tell people about the high quality of our breakfast food, sandwiches and muffins (we also think they are the best in town!). The amount of business we process at the Café during the peak season in Chatham can be amazing. And the students who work at the Café are consistently... More

We stopped in for lunch; ordered five sandwiches, none of which were very tasty. Breads were a bit dry, had to ask for mayo on both sides to compensate, turkey did not taste smoked, tasteless tomatoes. Prices not that great either. Cinnamon roll and coffee were quite good, but would not return for lunch.

The food here is very good here and the staff is very friendly and accommodating, there always seems to be a line though, service is a bit slow, of course you have to take into consideration that this is a vacation town, so for some the wait isn't an issue, prices are consistent with Chatham and the bagel selection is... Great choice of delicious homemade soups . Clam chowder served hot & tasted great on cold day. Interesting sandwich combos as well. Smoked turkey with avo & red bell pepper yummy. Can sit outside if nice. Great choice for quick bite.

The coffee is outstanding at the Chatham Village Café, and the café is located in a fun part of town, as I like to walk with my coffee in hand. As of several years ago, the café served a egg pattie, for lack of a better description. I think the café would attract more breakfast customers if they cooked fresh... More
