Excellent small, local restaurant off of Main Street, Chatham. Oysters are the signature and the Oysters Austin with lump crabmeat was amazing as was their Oysters Rockefeller which had the usual spinach but was topped with lobster!! The bouillabaisse was one of the best I have ever had.It was loaded with oysters, muscles, clams, lobster, fish with an amazing stock!... More

This was our last supper in the Cape -- and it was as advertised -- great food, abundant portions, and a great staff. After 4 days of "lobster fest" we all decided to try other things and i will tell you that there is a reason that this place has been around so long --- great food, reasonably priced, and... More

Based on reviews on this site we felt confident waiting for a table at this busy place which has been in business for some 42 years. We'll, we were mislead,TripAdvisor. The menu is large, with lots of ingredients unsuccessfully mixed in the entrees. My $32 fish dish had fish stuffed with other fish and several other ingredients served over a... More

Three of us enjoyed the Impudent Oyster while in Chatham. Excellent service. The sea bass was terrific - chef was happy to switch the cous cous to Jasmine rice for me; friend had steak tips with pad thai - loved it; overall a great meal.

We spent the afternoon walking Main Street in Chatham. We decided to stop in here based on the reviews. We were seated immediately and greeted right away. The wait staff was attentive and the food was fantastic. We will definitely come back here again! Definitely try the oyster po boy!

We stopped in for lunchwith a party of 6. Since it is not right on main st the place was not crowded. The staff is feally nice and the food is outstanding. Personally I had the lobster roll. It not traditional because it is on a small slice of bread rather then the usuall bun. The lobster chuncks were large,... More

Fantastic!!!! We were a party of 4, made a reservation 3 weeks in advance, soooo worth it! One of the most creative menus I've ever seen! We all ordered the Devils on Horseback that everyone raves about, delicious! Also ordered raw oysters, fresh and delicious. We all ordered from the Specials of the Day menu which was as extensive as... More

We had the bisque, scallop roll, salad w/ scallops. It's all good. Always consistent & fresh. It's part of our regular list of food jaunts each visit to the cape.
