We ate lunch here one day and although we had to wait about 30 minutes to get in, it was worth the wait. I had the scallop wrap sandwich and we shared a plate of onion rings which were fabulous. We have never had a bad meal here and hope to have many more!

I went there for lunch with another family. Between us, there are two 5-year-old, one 4-year-old, and a baby who just turned one. The grownups had the standard Cape cod fare: raw oysters and clams, lobster rolls, clam sandwiches. The kids had clam chowder and a kids meal pasta dish,. Normally they don't have kids meal for lunch, but they... More

Very busy with prompt service. Fresh baked herb bread. Clam chowda, while hot had a peppery taste, lacked a clam taste. Veal picata entre served in dish more like a soup bowl and difficult to cut items; vegetables were plentiful but barely warm; veal was not tender; sauce was flavorful. Banana ice cream desert was good size and flavorful. My daughter's sushi... More

Good food, good atmosphere, good music, awful and disrespect able staff attitude - host and bartenders! Owner and management must teach them how to work with costumers.

My first time to Chatham included a dinner at the local Impudent Oyster. Nested in to downtown Chatham, this restaurant has a prime location. It was fancy pansy for dinner...so don't get caught in jeans. The restaurant was so full, but we were able to get a seat at the bar for full service (which we were completely okay with).... More

My husband and I came here for lunch (no reservations required, but you have to get there early) and had the clambake and the salmon and YUM!!! Amazing! I would definitely come back. It's fresh, delightful, unpretentious New England Seafood at its best.

As a long-time Cape Cod summer restaurant, I feel confident saying this has got to be the best restaurant on the Cape. The food is exceptional and the portions are very generous! The service has also been perfect every time. This is our favorite place!

I ordered a dinner sized portion of the Portuguese Mussels. There are so many, but it was so delicious I ate them all and didn't share! Make sure you use the bread to get every last drop!

We ate at the Impudent Oyster during our recent stay in Chatham. Tables were fully booked but we didn't have to wait too long for a seat at the bar, where food is also served. Extensive and creative menu -lots of daily specials. I had halibut with a macadamia nut dressing/light sauce with lovely salad and fruit on the side.... More

Excellent small, local restaurant off of Main Street, Chatham. Oysters are the signature and the Oysters Austin with lump crabmeat was amazing as was their Oysters Rockefeller which had the usual spinach but was topped with lobster!! The bouillabaisse was one of the best I have ever had.It was loaded with oysters, muscles, clams, lobster, fish with an amazing stock!... More
