Stopped in for a late lunch after a day of cycling. Basic cape cod food in large portions. The lightly battered fish and chips was shiny - fresh and highly recommended. On a subsequent return on a rainy day, the restaurant was packed but service efficient and extremely friendly. Everyone enjoyed their choices and the lobster roll was a big... More

Food was good. Service was fast. Atmosphere was fun. We ate lunch here, then walked around town. In fact we left our car there until after the evening band concert.

Had four lobster rolls in Chatham on our week on the Cape. Impudent Oyster was the best. Full of substantial lobster meat and well seasoned. Nice pour of Sauvignon Blanc, too. Pleasant atmosphere. Good service. One of the best restaurants on the Eastern Cape.

Food and service were excellent. AC was a little too much at times when it cycled on. Noise level was fairly high. We really enjoyed our mail and plan to return.

This is a small restaurant, so make sure you have reservations. My husband and I sat at the bar and had a great dinner. I had the chicken and shrimp scampi with angel hair pasta. Good size, doable portions but not huge. My husband had the sole santorini- sole with stuffing, spinach, couscous which he said was excellent. We've dined... More

We dined here over July 4th long weekend. This was probably the most happening restaurant in all of Chatham. Lots of people enjoying themselves. They have a great bar for a pre drink or two while you are waiting. The food was all good.....we were 3 women eating so enjoyed sharing just appetizers......mussels, devils on horseback, dumplings, etc. If you're... More

We came in for lunch on a saturday without reservations. We had lobster roll, fish and chips and a fried oyster Po boy ( spicy sauce). Everything was delicious and in the case of the hot food, service right out of the fryer. Great spot.

All that you would expect from an oyster bar on Cape Cod. Highly recommended, and surprisingly affordable. A great opportunity to introduce kids to Cape elegance.

We visited the Impudent Oyster again (one year later from our last review) and found it to be consistent in both the excellent service and excellent food. You can't miss with this one.

This is a very good restaurant, with dishes that are a bit fancier and more imaginative than most others in town. Slightly higher prices but worth it. When I treated a couple of friends to dinner, this is where we went.
