Always fabulous food from a wonderful menu--many choices. Have had lunch there recently, dinner there on our anniversary, and many other dinners with friends over the years.

we live year round in Chatham and the Oyster is a local favorite for us when we want an above the average, something for a special occasion and when bar/tavern food just wont do we love to go to the Oyster :) I am married to a commercial fisherman so I can get fish all the time and know what... always a good meal. Need reservations at least 1 week in advance. You ca sit at the bar for dinner if you do not have a reservation but need to get there early. The clams casino are great as well as the shrimps in a hot oil and will always have one of these as an appetizer . Bread is... More

An especially good spot for lunch. Food can be a bit inconsistent, but the seafood is usually a good bet. Try the fish just grilled, fried, etc. rather than with too many sauces. It's a pleasant spot in the heart of Chatham.

While the potato chips were outstanding qr home made and perfectly salted--the roast beef wrap had too many competing flavors for me. Weirdly, I was the youngest diner in the room by many years, and the tables were close enough together that I got a more intimate view of the lives of the elderly than I really wanted. Service, however,... More

Renowned among locals for their Portuguese mussels and other local favorites. Not for picky children eaters or vegetarians though-not a lot of choices.

Dinner on a cold March Friday night brought us to the Impudent Oyster. Upon entering we were greeted by a rustic and cozy bar and dining room. We were seated immediately, as we had a reservation. Waitress was very friendly. The menu offered plenty of inviting dishes to choose from. My wife and I chose a chicken and beef and... More

We decided to have dinner here during a weekend away after reading reviews and being recommended by a friend. We were here in March and I thought we would have no problem getting a reservation but I was wrong! We were told there was no tables for that night but that we could sit at the bar. We ended up... Was a busy rainy Saturday night in March, and since we read about the INpundant Oyster on TA and Yelp , we decided to venture out of the Chatham Bars In and have dinner in town. Atmosphere is a bit old..typical Cape woodpaneled style restaurant. We ordered starters-a Wedge salad which was great and shrimp cocktail-jumbo shrimp with a great... More

We eat here at least 10 or 12 times a year since we have a place in town. At lunch last weekend we could have been in a different restaurant. The service was good, but 2 of our 4 dishes were so salty as to almost be inedible. The kale salad, while very generous in size, was just too salty... More
