We went to the Squire for a quick lunch on a Saturday, very friendly service, wide selection of beer on tap, and very good sandwiches and a imaginative menu.
Very unusual waitress who gave poor service. Started out friendly and then got incredibly slow as the meal progressed. Very loud, food was average and the draft from the door was awful.
Great choices for lunch, extensive menu! And, indian pudding with vanilla ice cream for dessert! Save room, made on the premises & delish! Everything fresh seafood & more. Difficult choices. Too bad I was only there for the day. Native Chatumers go there to dine so you know it's great!
Good food, classic New England atmosphere.... be sure to sit in the small tavern sized bar with the locals. Enjoy hearing the local flavor of Chatham by those sitting around you as well as enjoying a well mixed drink and some good food!
Being the off season, we went to this restaurant two nights in a row. Both servers were very friendly and had good suggestions for us tourists on other places to visit. The food was fresh and the serving was more than enough. Beer and wine selections were great. Variety of food offered was also great, as the second night, we... More
This is a classic Cape Cod experience! It was in the top two places our family (my wife and me along with 14 year old son and 11 year old daughter) ate on our recent trip to Cape Cod. Best of all, Chatham is probably the "best" Cape Cod city for scenic views, quaint downtown, and natural beauty. When in... More
This place was packed, but we got a table & so glad we did! Food was excellent. We voted this spot the best oysters- Chatham MA served cold & briny with a delicious chunky sauce. They were the best of our trip- and we had allot! Very large portions! Plateful of scallops that were delicious. Nice wine list from CA... More
The restaurant seems an informal bar and grill kind of a place. The meal we each had, the grilled swordfish, was way beyond the level of quality we expected. In fact it was by far the best meal we had in our visit to Chatham, even including a very upscale bistro.
We are regulars at the Squire, go there about once a week year round. They don't take reservations but work off a waiting list. Very busy and crowded in July and August, but busy year round. Once seated the service is very quick. You can take your time during dinner, but they like to turn over the tables a few... More
