We had a selection of menu choices and shared them among us four on vacation. Mussels, salad, fish and even a burger. Burger-nothing special. Rest was above average. Place was completely packed during lunch. Service was okay, they were busy.

Had lunch in the main dining room overlooking the busy Main Street for people watching on a grey and overcast day HUGE lobster roll which she declared as one of the best on the Cape! My meal was quite good, but the huge room we were in was not broken up in any way so it felt much like a... More

I'm sorry but I need to share- you all know that every review I've written looks to show the positives- never dwelling on the negative. Having said that..... We bellied up to the bar. A slow and open bar, 4 of us, ready to unwind and take in the local fare. (I should mention that we've been here before) with... More

We stopped by on Friday night, got really lucky and got a seat at the packed "bar" side of the restaurant. Quite a mix of tourists and locals. Very social atmosphere and everybody is happy. The bartenders were so busy that they were waiting on others while we asked a question and then walked away before we even finished the... More

Nice restaurant; great for families; good food and service. Has a popular bar scene at night but does not distract from the dining room.

We just picked this restaurant while walking ago the town streets. We ate in the tavern and it was some of the best seafood my husband and had on the Cape. Also kids loved the chicken tenders said best they have had:)

We got in to Chatham mid afternoon on Saturday and didn't want to cook. We headed to the Squire and tried to get a seat in the dining room. The wait was an hour so we headed over to the tavern side and was able to get a seat in about 20 min. the menu is the same. Good solid... More

Wandered into this place on a rainy day. It was jammed pack because of the rain but service and food were great! Had the clam chowder and steamers - excellent! And the service was fairly quick considering how crowded it was. Liked it so much, went back the next day for lunch too.

We (Dutch family) visited Cape Cod on a cold and drizzling day in July, which is very unusual weather for Cape Cod. Tired at the end of the day we were completely cheered up in the Chatham Squire. A fully crowded lively restaurant/bar in the centre of the (little) town Chatham. On the website is mentioned: 'where you meet friends'.... More
