Relaxing place, and no need to book. Nice menu, and very informal. It's fine for a quick meal and a drink. Service was equally fine.

The Squire is not only open all year round but it serves the best seafood in town. You can get mussels in marinara to raw oysters in the pub every day and the chowder is fantastic. They also have daily blue plate specials which are a great bargain. Sometimes it gets noisy in summer and the pub has live music... More

Snug in the middle of the charming Cape Cod village of Chatham is the warm and inviting Chatham Squire. Warm wood walls and cozy eating places invite you to sit and enjoy. The lobster bisque is outstanding. Service was professional. You were left to enjoy your dinner w/o constant interruption. Staff was friendly. Can't wait to return!! (And while in... More

I loved the bar and the atmosphere, everything was fun. The fried whole belly oysters were some of the best ever. Everything was fresh and beautifully seasoned. And a terrific selection of beer. Can't wait for next year.

Was pleasantly surprised when we entered this restaurant as it was a lot bigger inside and very busy with a great atmosphere. We had lobster bisque and a lobster roll, both delicious, will definitely visit this place for lunch again.

Place was busy, so we sat in the bar. Very friendly bartender/server. The food was fine -- fish and chips, slaw, etc.

The food is not just your standard bar fare. We had delicious meals cooked by great chefs. The menu is broad.

Pub restaurant in the middle of Main Street in Chatham. Looks fairly ordinary, but the place was packed and the food was good. I had the Scampi Pasta which was delicious, my partner had the Captains Platter which after 10 minutes of steady eating, had only a small dint in it! Good service and atmosphere.

My wife and I went here seeking a local place for a light meal. What we found was a very (very) loud restaurant / tavern. We tried to sit in the main dining area but ended up in the tavern. The noise level was the same. The food in the tavern was very blah. I had a "medium well" burger... More

We spent our summer family vacation this past August in Chatham and dined at several of the restaurants on Main street. By far, the Chatham Squire Restaurant was excellent for both food and service. We enjoyed it so much on Monday night that we went back on Friday night and it was equally as good the second time. It was... More
