The best fish and chips

The fish and chips was really good - probably the best I've had (the fish that is). The fish was very fresh, the chowder and the lobster bisque were really good, and the service matched the food.

Lunch for two was good. Gluten free options were limited. Service was a bit slow, but they were busy. Water glasses sat empty.

They don't take reservations, but you can call when en route and put your name on the list, which works well. Lobster ravioli was great! Kids menu typical fare--which is good and always safe. The veal was described as an "explosion of nonsense", so I do not recommend that. Service was quick but not rushed. I would return and not... More

Had lunch here. Rustic, casual atmosphere with very good service. Lobster bisque was fresh and tasty. Had mussels marinara- which was a huge portion- but not very memorable. Hubby had fried clam special, which was good. Clam chowder was ok. Nice spot for a quick lunch.

Was not impressed by this place ... yes, it's the summer. Yes, it's busy. Yes, they're crowded. But I saw enough staff around to be able to coordinate themselves in a better fashion. My husband thought our waitress must have left for the night without settling our bill -- he wanted to walk out without paying, but I flagged down... More

This is a busy place in the middle of Chatham. We enjoyed our meal and I thought the service was good. The atmosphere was good; A lot of families enjoying dinner together in the heart of Chatham.

The Squire has a "locals" feel to it. Many regulars frequent the restaurant, mixing with us tourists. The food is decent, not excellent. It is a local haunt that has decent prices for Cape Cod. The decor, license plates and Cape Cod memorabilia adorn the walls seems a little dated. We have eaten there 3-4 times in the last 5... More

We had dinner at the bar which we like to do travelling through the states. It is the most easy way to get in contact with others and get some do's and don't about the menu for example. Just like today. After I asked which beers they had an other customer adviced us to go for the local beer. This... More

This place is dirty and middling to average food. Sub standard even for bar fare. Chatham is crowded and maybe previous reviewers just tired of trying to find parking? There are multiple better options in the area. The bar is great for sports fans looking for beer and a break from souvenir shopping.

We love the Squire. It is a casual bar that can get very crowded at happy hour and when there is live music, and deservedly so. The live music and DJ nights are a ton of fun, with plenty of space for dancing (although watch the floor due to the girls who dance with their drinks and spill more than... More
