Best Fried Shrimp Dinner Ever

As a native New Englander, I have tasted a lot of seafood in my day. A trip to Cape brought me down to see the seals in Chatham. Drove past the Chatham Pier Fish Market and decided to have some dinner. I settled on the fried shrimp dinner which came with at least a dozen good size and delicately... read more

Best Clam Chowder I've ever had! What fun to watch the seals come in with the fishing boats and then stop by the market for the freshest seafood imaginable!

We ordered a pint of the clam chowder, which is very rich and have a lot of clams and potatoes in it. Price very reasonably. However, the lobster roll is $19.95!! It comes with fries and a small cole slaw, so we have to split one. Lobster is fresh but they use mostly the meat from the claws.

The only space available to eat your food was at 2 picnic tables crowded together. People were eating there out of there styrofoam containers with their plastic forks. For the prices they charged, they should provide a more inviting dining area. We passed on ordering and went to town to eat in a more civilized environment.

My wife and I took a walk from our hotel along Chatham beach on a very nice afternoon. We found ourselves at the Chatham pier and noticed the unassuming fish market at the parking lot. We went in because it was almost closing, checked out all the fresh catch and walked out. Then my wife mentioned that they had a... More

We stopped there to get some fresh lobsters. After per-ordering we were presented with 2 monsters at a fairly reasonable rate and delicious taste.

The food was OK but double the price of what it should be. It was $50 for two of us with no drinks. It's a fish market so there's no seating and food is served on styrofoam with tiny plastic forks. The only place to sit is at a couple dirty picnic tables with sand fleas and insects next to... More

We always make it a point to stop for lunch at the fish market. Their fried shrimp and scallop baskets never fail to satisfy. While there walk out to the observation are to look for seals-there invariably are a few loitering arpund waiting for the fishing boats to dump their excess bait and tradh catch when they come in.

Fresh, fresh, fresh, fresh-did I say fresh! We had the best lobster bisque that we ever had. The french fries were perfect -Hot fresh and crisp! The lobster in the lobster roll was sweet tasty and plentiful! The coleslaw was very good as well. This is one stop not to miss!
