Great fried seafood

Chatham Pier Fish Market is a great takeout place right on the pier. We both had fried clams and they were excellent. We also enjoyed watching the fisherman come in with their catch next door while we waited on our food.

Chatham Fish Pier Market is a great place to pick up fresh seafood or takeout orders if your staying in or near this toney village and have eat-in accommodations. The fish comes right into the harbor on boats that dock behind the market. However, I wouldn't recommend the market for on-site eating. The picnic benches are situated just around the... More

Everything about this place was beyond cool! The food was outstanding. My family shared the Clam Strips Basket as a small snack, and we were all impressed. We have had clam strips at numerous locations around Cape Cod, and these were our favorite. Right around the corner from the "shack" is the pier itself, where fishing boats are unloading their... My family and I have been coming to the Chatham Fish Market for 15+ years. It is so fun to come and watch the fiahing boats unload from the viewing deck. There are always seals around. The seafood is beyond fresh whether you want to grab a lobbie roll or buy stuff to make at home. there is no place... More

As a native New Englander, I have tasted a lot of seafood in my day. A trip to Cape brought me down to see the seals in Chatham. Drove past the Chatham Pier Fish Market and decided to have some dinner. I settled on the fried shrimp dinner which came with at least a dozen good size and delicately fried... More

Best Clam Chowder I've ever had! What fun to watch the seals come in with the fishing boats and then stop by the market for the freshest seafood imaginable!

We ordered a pint of the clam chowder, which is very rich and have a lot of clams and potatoes in it. Price very reasonably. However, the lobster roll is $19.95!! It comes with fries and a small cole slaw, so we have to split one. Lobster is fresh but they use mostly the meat from the claws.

The only space available to eat your food was at 2 picnic tables crowded together. People were eating there out of there styrofoam containers with their plastic forks. For the prices they charged, they should provide a more inviting dining area. We passed on ordering and went to town to eat in a more civilized environment.

My wife and I took a walk from our hotel along Chatham beach on a very nice afternoon. We found ourselves at the Chatham pier and noticed the unassuming fish market at the parking lot. We went in because it was almost closing, checked out all the fresh catch and walked out. Then my wife mentioned that they had a... More

We stopped there to get some fresh lobsters. After per-ordering we were presented with 2 monsters at a fairly reasonable rate and delicious taste.
