Good food, is easy to get to and away from the main strip of downtown Chatham. Great atmosphere. Would good back again.

Del Mar Bistro has perhaps improved since our visit a year ago, although that's hard to do. The menu is well conceived and the offerings varied and universally good. The wine list is fine, and not overpriced. We made our reservation a week or two before leaving home for the Cape -- a good idea, since the restaurant always is... More

It took four days to get a reservation here. We were seated at a table for two close to the restrooms right next to a family of fourteen, eight of which were children that were misbehaving and mostly out of their seats. There was nothing pleasant about our dining experience, I'm sorry to say! We asked both our server and... More

We took out of town friends there 2 weeks ago. The experience was outstanding. The menu is quite varied so that there is something for everyone. The food was excellent and the prices quite reasonable. The service was very good and the atmosphere was comfortable. I highly recommend a visit.

Del Mar is an absolute must-do if you are in Chatham or nearby. It's beautifully decorated and has a great atmosphere. The drinks are exceptional, and reasonably priced. My boyfriend and I had the "In Fashion" which is a twist on an Old Fashioned and both loved it. My mother had the "Lemon Drop" and it was great, as well.... More

This was the first time that I went to Del Mar, and it did not disappoint. This was one of the best meals I have had on Cape Cod. I got the striped bass, which the restaurant buys straight off the fishing boats. Its about the freshest bass you can get without catching it yourself. It was also cooked perfectly,... More

Del Mar is a very good restaurant serving excellent food. For appetizers our group shared the the Toasted Polenta with Bolognese Sauce and a Lobster Tostada Special. Plenty of lobster in the tostada and the polenta was creamy yet firm the bolognese was nicely seasoned. For my main I had the Portuguese Steamed Littlenecks. The dish had a dozen perfectly... More

Went for drinks and dinner and we were pleasantly surprised. A duo of gentlemen was playing jazz, one on keyboard and one playing flute. We had drinks sitting on a couch close to the musicians while waiting for our table. They were friendly and asked if we had any requests. One misunderstood our request and thought we requested "Surry with... More

The place was heaving Food was just ok. Seared tuna was good but swordfish was tasteless. Service was rushed and inattentive. There are many better places in and around Chatham. This place is overrated and one to avoid.
