Exceedingly Average

Stopped in for lunch. Sign outside stated "waitstaff needed". Boy do they ever need help. With the restaurant a quarter full, one waitress and a bartender, both working their tails off. Ordered a quohog and mussels for an appetizer, along with a buffalo wrap and fried chicken dinner. It all... read more

Decided to go here for dinner as the buffalo chicken mac & cheese sounded good. The reality was far different. First, in my opinion, mac & cheese should be made with elbows, not shells. Second, I can't even call what was on it cheese. It was more like orange water. One of the more disgusting dinners I've had in a... More

We took the grandsons (8 and 11) to the Catamut Light entertainment center. We spent about 90 minutes playing 18 holes of Mini golf and riding on the Bumper boats. The restaurant is right there. Nothing spectacular in looks, but good food and reasonably priced. They have entertainment on various nights, but with the youngsters, we had to pass. I... More

Our party of 2 adults and 1 child arrived about 5:30 on a Thursday evening. Only two booths in the dining room were occupied. We were asked if we were part of the party of 30 and when we said no, the response was a visible cringe. It was downhill from there. We were seated at a dirty table that... More

Friendly, busy local pub-restaurant. The bar was noisy but the adjoining dining room was quiet enough, and the food was fine. The onion rings were excellent, they make their own cole slaw with cranberries--delicious. The wife enjoyed her pulled pork sandwich and my chicken parm sandwich was an entire breast of tender chicken on a bun. It was fresh, flavorful... More

Enjoyed a Wednesday lunch here, delicious Cuban sandwich -it was quite large so shared with a friend and small tossed salads made for a great lunch. The greek salad dressing was alittle off putting as it was a brownish color almost a balsamic look about it. Tasted good. The flat bread pizza looked delicious and friend went home with enough... I want to start with the positives...our server was lovely and the manager was most professional. I ordered prime rib and I can honestly say it was the most horrific looking cut of meat I have ever seen. Thought I would try a bite but it smelled as bad as it looked. The broccoli was tasteless and the baked potatoe... More

Had a chance to grab a burger and some Chowda here. The owner also runs the bar... Decided to sit there and eat. Many locals hang here as the price is right and the food is good, not great. But, I would go back and just hang around next trip down.

Firstly, as of September 1, 2014 they were not closed. I was there. They were open last Labor Day as well. I was there. I have read other reviews and there appears to be a real love-hate relationship here so I'll land firmly in the middle. It is totally local. It seems to be where the locals go to get... More

My family and I enjoyed a day of fun at the Cataumet Crossing play area. When it came time for lunch we decided to check out The Parrot Bar and Grill. The front door was locked so we walked around back. The hostess sat us at our table (there was only one other family there) and the waiter took our... More
