We were directed to Captain Al's as opposed to our regular haunts in the area. We gave it a try and we're not pleased with the results. The food was mediocre and the restaurant was not clean. Service was good and attentive. Prices were comparable with other local establishments so why pay the same price for mediocre food? The outdoor... More

Went out with a friend for some appetizers and drinks. Upon entering there was a sign that said "please wait to be seated" Well we waited...and waited, and waiting. Although there was servers all over the place and many came up to the hostess station, not one acknowledged us. We finally gave up and just sat ourselves at a high... More

Pulled up in the boat which is cool. Service was good, food came quickly. Clams were good, not the best ever but good. Enjoyed a table at the edge of the water, great views. Very glad we went.

I echo the sentiments of my predecessors. This a great place for dinner or lunch. Come prepared to share. The portions are liberal. A bloody, then beer and nachos are a perfect way to watch whatever game is on. It is a Sunday mainstay for us.

Indoor and outdoor dining with the sunset overlooking the bay. The fried haddock and cole slaw were awesome. The staff is very attentive to your needs. Reasonable prices and delicious food. Highly recommended but only opened April through October.

Great place with a wonderful view. Indoor and outdoor dining and bars. We sat at the outdoor bar on a quiet evening on one of the last weekends they are open for the season. The sunset over the bay is a great backdrop for cocktails and a delicious seafood dinner.

Where else can you go and have a beautiful view of Buttermilk Bay and great food and drinks? Sitting outside over looking the water is awesome. Mudslides were great. Live music on the Saturday p.m. we were there. Loved the ceasar sald with the broiled scallops.

Great atmosphere, reasonable prices and best of all....delicious food. Highly recommend any of their seafood but their fried clams are to die for.

I'm hooked! They have a seahog which is similar to a stuffie but includes all the goodies like shrimp, clams and drawn butter. I have also enjoyed their lobster roll which is naked (no mayo or anything) and has drawn butter on the side! The Key Lime martini is one of my favorites as well. The atmosphere is fun and... More

My husband and I stop in weekly. I always have the lobster salad. Mayo and/or butter are always on the side. I love it! My husband orders fried seafood or the Reuben sandwich. We have never had a bad meal. The sweet potato fries are the best I've ever had. Waitstaff could be improved. The view is gorgeous and makes... More
