Not so Tex-Mex

Some time ago I saw this place and having lived in several places in God blessed Texas, I feel I have a feeling for Tex-Mex. The chips were warm and the salsa fresh. The waitress whose name I dont remember because of the not great service, came to take our drink order. I was incredibly suprised... read more

We have 4 teenage children and we can only afford to go to places that offer a large meal and are very reasonable. I believe that Border Café is one of the best restaurants in town, especially for a family. Food, service and price are all excellent. My favorite dish is the blackened salmon salad. Delicious!!

This restaurant is just a fun place to be in. Atmosphere is very happy. Not an intimate date nite place. Food is very good and reasonable

I’ve eaten at the Burlington location many times, with family and friends, and was never disappointed until the last visit. The restaurant wasn’t as busy as usual when we arrived at around 2 p.m. on a recent Saturday afternoon, so we were seated immediately. Our request for extra dinner napkins was filled with brown paper towels. Three of the four... More

Food is always good here. Love the fajitas. Good kids menu as well. Definitely worth the short drive.

I have been to this location several times, casual, a little noisy, fun Mexican atmosphere. Sometimes a wait at rush hour, but usually not long as they have a lot of tables. The food is always good, prices are very reasonable. Drinks are good. Friendly staff, This is my go to place for a Mexican, and what I compare other... More

The name should change to something spanish after Border. The food was great along with the homemade tortilla chips. You feel like you are in Mexico for all the decorations around and the way they lit up the place with dim lights.

Stopped on the recommendation of a client in Burlington. First off, the place is big, open and pretty noisy - a great place for a party, but not terribly relaxing. My colleagues and I went with the cajun menu. The gumbo was actually pretty good. The crawfish etouffee was OK, certainly not anything you'd get in Louisiana, but what can... More

Went to Border for lunch with my wife, was surprised to see that it was so busy on a Monday. We both got fajitas which we've had plenty of times in the past. The quality was fantastic as usual, the waitress even handled a small special request that I had made. Free chips and salsa were great, they did seem... More
