Friends Hanging out

This is a great place for drinks and just to hang out with your friends. The waitress was great always checking on us to see if we needed anything.

I have eaten here many times and did not think it would even be possible to get in here on Cinco de Mayo, but after an hour and a half wait (with a pager) we got a table. I expected the food and service to be slow, but it was not--instead it was amazing, as usual. The food quality is... More

Constant Companion and I visited this outlet of the Border Cafe for the first time. Being very familiar with the chain's restaurants in Cambridge and Saugus the food here was consistent with the others but the service was not up to Border's par. CC ordered the Chicken Tostada-- which was a tortilla shell filled with with black beans, cheese, lettuce,... More

Never had eaten Mexican food before and I confess was a great experience. Good food, spicy as I think Mexican food has to be. Good service and nice decoration. recommended.

Enjoyed it enough to make a trip to it for dinner 2 nights in a row. The first time was for the Chicken Guadalajara and then back for the Blackened Catfish. Enjoyed both dishes, though I wouldn't say the best Mexican or Cajun I've ever had but it was very good. The portions were very filling. The service was prompt... More

Tried this chain for the first time recently in Burlington, MA. Actually thought it was a new name for On the Border restaurants, but it turns out it's a completely different outfit. They claim their fame is Tex-Mex and Cajun which, to me is a bold statement. It's too funky of a combination of cuisines to come out of the... More

Of course you can get any of the usual tex mex offerings here, and the salsa and guacamole are pretty good. But what I love about this place is the Eggplant Royale - lightly fried eggplant smothered in a creamy sauce with big chunks of crab meat. And a side of jambalaya that is so good I always order an... My food was very good but it was average. My husband was disappointed with his and my son only ate half of his dinner.

This restaurant offers both Mexican and Cajun meals. The food is generally excellent and the prices reasonable. I've eaten there at least 10 - 12 times over the last several years. Service has generally been good, though the last two times the Gumbo (very good, BTW) was brought out with the meal, rather than first. I complained about this, and... More

Some time ago I saw this place and having lived in several places in God blessed Texas, I feel I have a feeling for Tex-Mex. The chips were warm and the salsa fresh. The waitress whose name I dont remember because of the not great service, came to take our drink order. I was incredibly suprised that there was no... More
