The name should change to something spanish after Border. The food was great along with the homemade tortilla chips. You feel like you are in Mexico for all the decorations around and the way they lit up the place with dim lights.

Stopped on the recommendation of a client in Burlington. First off, the place is big, open and pretty noisy - a great place for a party, but not terribly relaxing. My colleagues and I went with the cajun menu. The gumbo was actually pretty good. The crawfish etouffee was OK, certainly not anything you'd get in Louisiana, but what can... More

Went to Border for lunch with my wife, was surprised to see that it was so busy on a Monday. We both got fajitas which we've had plenty of times in the past. The quality was fantastic as usual, the waitress even handled a small special request that I had made. Free chips and salsa were great, they did seem... More

The prices are great, the food is good, the margaritas are great and there is outdoor seating. What's not to love?

That's about it.. Tex Mex / Cajin style food. Good beer, nice service, good food. Don't pass it up. From the tortilla chips that hit the table as we were sitting down, to the jumbalaya, fajitas, and, well, basically whatever we chose from the menu,, there were no complaints. Including the price.

This restaurant was recommended for Cajun food, not usually available in the Northeast. Chips and salsa were good but very salty, Margaritas just o.k. The people who ordered Mexican food were very pleased and the étouffée and jambalaya were spicy and very good. The only real complaint was this restaurant was very noisy. We sat, party of seven, at a... More

Probably the best fajitas ever! I had the regular chicken but someone else had the spicy chicken and both were delicious. It is a little noisy because it's busy and nothing to cut the noise. Margaritas are good. Mexican beer choices.

Busy, large portions, and relatively inexpensive. The service was good and the atmosphere typical for a tex-mex chain. I'd be wary of any restaurant that combines a Mexican menu with a Cajun menu. The food ranged from OK to mediocre. Everything is over-salted (which is why they probably give you very large drinks) and poorly seasoned. The chili had ground... More

The service was good. As soon as we sat down, they delivered warm chips and salsa and took our drink order. We were able to enjoy some chips and begin to look over the large menu. The chicken quesadillas caught my eye. It is a very generous portion. It comes with guacamole, fresh salsa, sour cream and lettuce on the... More

Border Cafe is always my go to for Mexican food. The chips are delicious and addicting always served warm and salty. I usually like to get the tajas chicken for an app and then go with the steak and chicken fajita for dinner. Their margaritas are a great addition to their yummy food! Also, it is very affordable!
