Excelent Menu, Mediocre Service

My boyfriend and I love Papa-Razzi's menu. He had the Beef Fillet and I had the Bolognese Rigatoni and we shared the mussel appetizer. The menu is excellent; it's quasi authentic Italian. Compliments to the culinary team! However, the front of house service was mediocre. Our waitress was nice... read more

Revitalized and renewed! Old place was not bad, but management recognized that the restaurant was getting tired. Come and enjoy the new decor.

I am not one to use abbreviations but OMG, this place was incredible!!! It was my wife's birthday and I wanted to make it special. So enters Papa Razzi Metro. There are other Papa Razzi restaurants but the menu is different, this restaurant has the new upgraded (BETTER) menu. The wait staff, Tyler, was absolutely a pleasure he was there... More

We gave this refreshed restaurant a try for dinner a few Saturday nights ago. We were seated in a small booth for two across from the server station. Not the best location for the view. Before renovation there was nice large outside deck for dining that had become run down, and now most of the deck has been enclosed. Apparently... More

We stopped at Metro Papa Razzi today after several days vacation in Maine, the food and service were outstanding and the prices extremely fair. This is the new concept for Papa Razzi and I can't wait for it to come to Rhode Island!! If in the Burligton area shopping definitely stop, you won't be disappointed.

No matter what you are ordering, ask how it is prepared. When "mixed asparagus and onions" = onion rings and batter fried asparagus, the menu NEEDS explanation. The waiter did ask us, we just assumed the menu described the offerings. The Basil rigatoni was good, but, i would rather have had more basil and less pecorino. The Linguini [con le]... More

Never thought a pumpkin halibut soup could be so delicious! The atmosphere was conducive for business luncheon. Service was courteous and yet succinct.

Recently the restaurant was remodeled costing several million dollars. The interior still looks the same but that's not the issue. The menu has changed drastically and it's terrible. This used to be my favorite restaurant but now I will never go back. The menu is very odd and I am not sure who they are catering to. Also it seemed... More

Enjoyed a really tasty dinner. Busy place with buzz but staff were attentive and knowledeable without being overbearing. Portions, like many US restaurants, are quite substantial so sharing an entree is ideal. We have travelled a lot in Italy and the food was very authentic too and fresh. The white bean and lemon zest dip with the bread was yum.... More
