Consistently Good Food and Service

Always good experience both with food and service. Have dined there around 6 times, never disappointed. Very consistent.

This is the first time we've tried this restaurant. We selected it because they can accommodate people with food allergies. My daughter & grandson are gluten free, dairy & egg free. The waitress was very nice & consulted the Chef on certain items on the menu. My daughter was very satisfied with her choice but my grandson's hamburger was way... More

The food is always great, priced reasonably for the Boston area and the staff is friendly and efficient.

My partner and I were staying in Burlington to see Boston for three days. We ended up checking out Not Your Average Joes after a recommendation from our hotel nearby. We weren't expecting anything special, it seemed like just another "big-box" restaurant chain. We were so wrong! Our server (Sarah!) was awesome. She let us sample some of seaonal beer... More

I went to Not Your Average Joe's for the first time in a long time and it was so good. I had not had the tomato basil soup for a long time as I had switched to the clam chowder but it was as delicious as ever. I would rate it better than the clam chowder. For dinner, I had... More

We were a party of 8 and came her to celebrate Mother's Day. The place was very busy but our waitstaff person didn't miss a beat. The entire staff was very accommodating as my mom is in a wheelchair. We were a little skeptical that our meals would be good given the size of our party and how busy the... More

We have been to Not Your Average Joe's to eat inside as well as for take-out. We have been happy with both. Their bread with dipping oil is amazing and included with take-out orders! The mustard crusted chicken is always a favorite. We have also had some of their fish dishes and they were good too!

The clam chowder was good but their pesto chicken and pasta dish that is April's special was not good at all. Chicken was very dry while the pasta was swimming in oil. Too heavy. I felt the oil in my stomach hours later, yikes!

Good variety on the menu, including food for kids. We've been there several times with kids and grandkids, and everyone was happy. Reasonably priced -- not cheap, but good value for the money. Above average waitstaff. Often a waiting line, especially on weekends. Call for reservations. Extensive bar and good craft beers. Fairly noisy, especially when crowded.
