For the regulars

Pizza isn't bad, most of the other stuff is average. If you want something other than beer or wine go somewhere else, I have never had a decent cocktail here - all mixes.

Nothing that I ever ordered was not done to perfection, I have been going there since my teens and everything from the pizza to the chicken and broccoli scampi are excellent. The wait staff are pleasant , attentive and knowledgeable of the varied and well thought out menu.

Being from the area this is one of those places that is just always there but under appreciated. Seems I only go there when we visit Conley Funeral home but I need to change that. Fancy? Nope. Nice enough though and real "homey" feeling with very pleasant service. The food and deals are tremendous. Is it a "four star" restaurant?... More

I have been going to Georges for years along with my family. Their food is good for the most part. I rarely have a complaint. On this visit I ordered the Fried Clams which were on the specials menu and I was totally disappointed. I have had them before and they are usually quite good. This time, they were huge and... More

I have visited George's Cafe in Brockton at least a dozen times. While the service can sometimes be spotty, and while the food is only about average much of the time, this is a great local place for meeting friends or co-workers for a reasonably priced dinner, with large portions, and an atmosphere that screams local history. It is best... More

George's has always been a great local place, for a very good meal at a reasonable price. They have a new special, which is absolutely the most incredible value. On Monday and Tuesday night's, they serve 1 pound of spaghetti in a bowl with 2 sausages, 2 meatballs, a large chicken cutlet, and garlic bread. Yes, I did write 1... More

Food was pretty bad and seemed frozen food that was microwaved. Service was bad as well. Ordered some sodas and they came back to the table about 10 minutes later.

I have a nice quiet time there every time I go. This is the place, along with the Texas road house, that I love going g to with my mother. Its pieceful and the food is very good with amazing portions especially for the price 10/10

This place gets 5 stars do the warmth of the staff and clientelle. Saying it's a townie place would be an understatement, but the service and food is a real bargain and comforting. There are plenty of people who might put their nose up at the traditional, '60's style menu and options, but this Brocktonian loves it and can't wait... More

Ignored at the bar, restaurant smells like a nursing home. Very outdated "decor" You have to be one of the politically connected people in town to get half decent service. Definitely a "has been clique" atmosphere.
