I've tried this place twice and both times the muffins have been very dry. Its almost never open and the last time I came in, there were only 3 items left and without my saying anything, the woman at the counter said, "the early bird gets the muffin." So, I walked right out. Overall, its a cute place, but not... More

This is a lovely little bakery in scenic Brewster MA. It is located in an old colonial house on historic 6A. You enter through a pretty flower garden into the tiny bake shop. There you will find a beautiful assortment of freshly baked muffins, scones, cupcakes, cookies and assorted sweets that are kept cold. The goods are baked by Heather,... More

After coming up here for many years I decided to stop in Hopkins Bakery. First parking is limited and a hassle. I went and noticed a line to the door. I was waiting patiently hoping to see what the fuss was all about. By the time I got to my turn, there was only a limited muffin supply and scones.... More

...Because these are by far the most delicious muffins we have ever had. Not to mention the other sweet treats, fresh loaves of bread, pies, and quiches are phenomenal. The Hopkins House is a Brewster treasure. We wait on line every day it's open, and will continue to do so for as long as keep coming to the Cape. The... More

As a previous reviewer mentioned, there can be a line when the Hopkins House first opens. While that is no doubt due in part to the greatness of their baked goods, it's also due in part to the fact that only about 5 or 6 people can fit inside at a time. Based on the reviews here I showed up... More

Wonderful assortment of baked goodies, hard to make up your mind - the Peach muffin was really filled with fruit.

Love, love, love the baked goods here. Especially good are the French breakfast muffins--perfect! Don't count on sitting inside; there is one table, and when we were there it was being used by a bakery worker to fold bakery boxes. Check the hours before going. They are not open every day and hours are limited. There is a gift shop... More

Do not miss this place. Very small, across the street from jo mamas bagel place. The muffins are out of this world. The pumkin muffin is amazing. Also have great iced coffee. They are not open every day, so be sure to check ahead to know when they are open.

We have loved Hopkins House bakery for many years, the homebaked cookies, muffins, bars...homemade treats without lifting a spatula! We grab a box to go and nibble on HH's beautiful lawn, either front or back. The staff is warm and cheerful. I believe the shop has limited hours, just weekends or Th-Sun. If you seen their open sign posted, be... More

Everything this little bakery makes is wonderful. The muffins and cookies are fabulous and the bakery's setting in a historic house is a nice plus. The adjoining gift shop is a great place to wander through while eating your muffin. No indoor seating.
