Great Muffins

A real good old fashioned bakery. LIght but with great taste. Fresh ingredients. Staff was very accommodating. Give it a try. Walking distance from Ocean's Edge condo complex. Easy walk.

Visited the bakery on a recent stay in Brewster. The smell inside was divine & the scone & muffin we purchased very tasty. Also has a lovely shop attached with lots of interesting things to buy. Staff friendly & seemed to know the locals well. Would recommend.

Great bakery. Open late in the week in the summer season. Be early for best selections. Any selection is to die for. Old fashioned bakery.

A better muffin does not exist! This bakery is run by a wonderful family who just happen to be talented, trained bakers. It is hard to decide on a favorite, but the peach, pumpkin with penuche frosting, and morning glory are three good starts. Then, there are all their other delightful baked goods! Fantastic cookies, scones, and so much more!... More

We stopped on our way out of Brewster for breakfast and coffee. Coffee and scones were just okay, but our muffins and brownies were to die for!

My husband and I make an annual pilgrimage to Hopkins House for their hermit cookies which are, in a word, perfect. Chewy, spicy, and irresistible. Eating our hermit cookies (plural!) in the adirondack chairs in the garden is at the top of our list every summer. We also enjoy browsing the three-room gift shop in the attached 1700s house and... It is a combination of two old cape cod houses...that alone is worth stopping in to walk throughout the bakery/gift shop! If you like delicious baked goods and love cards & gifts, definitely stop in, you will be glad you did!

We rent a house in Brewster every year right near the Hopkins House. We love walking over in the morning and grabbing some fresh muffins for breakfast and also some sweet treats for the rest of the day. Everything is great here , you can not go wrong with whatever you select.

We visit Brewster every year and get muffins and pie and whatever else looks good from the Hopkins House almost every day it's open. My husband loves talking to people on line as it opens... when the owner comes out and puts up the "open" sign. I crave the strawberry rhubarb muffins... don't know how they do it!!! definitely give... More

We love Hopkins House!! We've been visiting them for ten years. They are only open Thursday- Sunday unfortunately (we would go every day if they were open) their pies are heaven! You can't go wrong with anything from the bakery. Sweet and delicious! It even has a nice little shop to browse and buy little souvenirs.
