This place is gorgeous. The decor is spectacular as is the food and the service. It is pricey but worth every penny. The perfect special occasion restaurant.

We went on Sunday evening, the restraint Bistro was very busy, but we did not wait to be seated. The Food was excellent. The Clam Chowder was Fantastic as was the Seafood. Great Wines and Service. Definitely will return

This place has been a standby on the Cape since the 50's.. At one time it just had the very tony pre fixe dining experience, but now they also have a less expensive and less formal restaurant on the premises . Last week we went to the less expensive area and had great service and great food.( I tipped 25... More

We've been stopping by Chillingsworth for almost two decades, eating at what they now call the "Bistro,' as opposed to the high-priced, elaborate dining room. We had an early warning two years ago with a mediocre meals, but now we're sad to report that there's clearly a steady downhill course, as highlighted by dinner. In the past, there were delicate,... We came here at the last minute. Called ahead and they told us to come on down. The food was delicious but we were rushed to order our food because the kitchen was closing at 9 pm. Warm olives and yummy bread was given to us when we sat down. Angel hair with lobster, crab crepe, salmon dishes were all... More

We sat in the bar because it was crowded and the bartender had to double as our waitress. Service was just ok, but food was delicious and very creative. I had lobster crepes. Yum. This is a great spot.

We should have heeded the other reviews regarding haphazard service and the 'not my problem' attitude of the female owner. However, many years of fond Chillingsworth memories caused us to throw caution to the wind. While the food was good - it was not enough to overcome the 3 hours of less-than-average service the rest of the night. The front... More

I was invited by a friend and the service was rude. We waited forever for food that was heavy and bland. There are so many places on the Cape and I wouldnt waste my money on the owners who dont care about their customers! If I could rate it negative I would have!
