Bistro is a hidden gem

Love Chillingsworth! The hidden gem is the bar/bistro. Had an incredible lobster pizza and truffle fries; Kathy the bartender is competent and helpful. The food is exquisite.

Met a friend for dinner at Chillingsworth, the Bistro Bar. Had never been before but always wanted to try it. They have Pre Fixe Bistro menu but we did not do that since we dined in the Bar area. It is a beautiful old French Country Farm House setting with many small intimate dining areas, but the main dining area... More

I like everything! Service and the food is great. Well, except for the time my husband ordered a Scotch and Soda and got something we couldn't figure out - more like a scotch sour?? But they got it fixed.

We stayed on Cape Cod for 4 nights and ate at a bunch of great places, but the consensus of our group of 5 was that this was the best meal of all. The food was just outstanding. The muscles were caught locally and were twice as large and as sweet as any others we have ever eaten. We had... More

My 3 star rating is based on two of us having a good meal in the Chilli's tradition, and two of us being sorely disappointed. We often treat ourselves to a meal in the bistro while on Cape Cod, and as my parents were visiting and had great memories of their last meals there (in 2011 we enjoyed my mother's... More

Great dinner again at the Bistro with a good friends couple. The steamed Cape mussels are always delicious and so tasty : we are picking them each time going there. My best part got the pan seared see scallops and myself tried the special fish of the day, a delicious stripped bass served with basmati rice and a pineapple sauce.... More

We've come here before and enjoyed the Bistro when we're on the way to a show at some of the many theaters in the area. The restaurant is, of course, fabulous, but if you need to eat in a lovely setting, enjoy really, really well prepared food, and be out the door before a show you can't go wrong with... More

We had a very delightful evening dining here from start to finish! The servers where quite pleasant and willing to answer any questions about the restaurant and the menu. We opted for the 5 course fixed price dinners, which we each found delicious, very filling, and perfectly stretched out over 2 hours. We never felt rushed nor, left waiting for... More

Just had dinner at the bar. Small plates menu, which I ordered from, was a short rib with mashed potatoes. Excellent. Just enough. I also ordered a side of vegetables. Believe me, it was enough for a meal. My husband ordered the strip sirloin, which he said was the best steak he's had at the cape. Although we try to... More

We have lived in France. This is not the same as some of the French country restaurants we came to love, but the setting is gracious and relaxed, the service is courteous, and the food generally very good. We came for the 3 course prix-fixe dinner before going to the nearby CapeRep theater. We read of a $25 3 course... More
