We've eaten at the restaurant in the past (last fall and this spring). This weekend we were at the Bistro for the last two evenings. Two nights in a row, amazingly consistent and delicious. We all had different entrees and appetizers, whether it was the oysters or the clam chowder, excellent! The duck, scallops and chicken, all outstanding! Service very... More

We made a 9 PM reservation online. We immediately received a phone call asking us to come earlier because the kitchen closed at 9. We were able to go at 8 PM. The service, food and atmosphere were all excellent.

Three of our group of five had been to Chills Bistro before (the casual -- and "lower price" -- side of Chillingsworth Restaurant), so they already knew we were in for a treat. I had the pork loin...the port was fine, but the spinach, faro and puffed rice side was the real star of the show. Delectable. So was my... More

First, it's a huge accomplishment to last in seasonal Cape Cod for 20 years (and this is actually their 39th) so they must be doing something right! Our absence for 20 years coincides with loss of expense account and retiring on the proverbial "fixed income" as Chillingsworth is renown for upscale dining and its corresponding upscale pricing. However all of... More

Chill's Bistro in Brewster, MA (Cape Cod) is the casual side of the fine dining Chillingsworth (fabulous). We had been exploring route 6A (longest road of historic districts in US) and needed to end up in Chatham for a play at Monomoy Theater (Great) but had a problem with getting a reservation for dinner (lots of come and wait -... I know this is "bistro" and not the fine dining next door, but our initial reaction to the staff and decor was cheesy and bizarre. We were greeted by a boisterous, cheerful, and somewhat unkempt hostess with a smile full of bad teeth. This didn't help our appetites. We opted not to sit outside because of the wobbly table and... Our service was great and dinner delicious. The menu is pricey, but we felt the value was there. We did want to get back to Chillingsworth's French Restaurant, but ran out of time. We will for sure go back!

I dined at Chill's Bistro on Thursday night with my parents and were pleasantly surprised. It was nice and quiet, offered excellent and professional service and good quality food. The salads, appetizers, salmon, scallops and pasta were all prepared well and were good size portions. Our wine was delicious, the sorbets flavorful. A pleasant evening and we will return!

One of our favorite restaurants in a setting that is Frenchy and has eye appeal. The food never disappoints, the portions are generous and the price point is good.

My wife and I went to Chill's Bistro on a Saturday night. My wife had the golden & red beet carpacio app w/mozzarella balls & dressing. Her entree was a crab-meat crepe with a tarragon sauce w/shrimp in a vodka & creme tomato sauce. For dessert she had a lemon meringue tart in a blueberry sauce. I had the Bistro... More
