The Brewster Coffee Shop we'd enjoyed visiting numerous times in vacation over the past several years isn't nearly what it used to be. The building and decor are the same, but new ownership has made a number of cost-savings changes that have reduced the quality of the food and, sadly, the experience of breakfast there. The half-and-half, for instance, has... More

We used to love coming here, but the quality has gone way downhill. The coffee was terrible and burnt, even after they brewed a fresh pot. The hash browns were frozen from a bag! Since when? Just plain ol' boring average breakfast food. My mom's scrambled eggs were burned, but mine were fine. No one seemed to know what was... More

Brewster Coffee Shop is consistently good food served by pleasant staff in a nice clean welcoming atmosphere. Since it was pretty quiet on the Cape at the very end of October we were able to chat with the new owner for a while. So nice to see people who take such pride in their business. The waitress we had was... More

Wife and I visited during our stay in Cape Cod. She got the bacon croissant sandwich which was quite good - grilled on a panini press and served with home fries, which were unfortunately very uninspired and didn't seem "home" made. I had the blueberry pancakes and sausage. The sausages were very typical, but the blueberry pancakes were fantastic. Whole... More

The restaurant is quaint and cutely decorated, and recommended by a local for us to try for brunch. The service was decent, but a little slow. The breakfast food was good, but a little pricey (close to $40 for 2 of us), but we ate well for brunch. We had a fresh lobster omlette (first ever) and it was good,... More

I visited The Brewster Coffee Shop last weekend while on holiday in Cape Cod. Not only was the food delicious, (best breakfast of the whole trip, so good in fact that we visited twice), but the staff were incredibly friendly too! A family owned and operated restaurant that serves an excellent breakfast, and a huge orange juice! I had the... More

Brewster Coffee Shop used to be a cute place for a good home cooked breakfast or lunch. It has a great outside area to eat on picnic tables when the weather is good and we like that but we were very disappointed in our last breakfast. First, it is not cheap. I don't mind paying more for great fresh food... More

Stopped here several times for breakfast. Have a full breakfast menu - nothing really fancy just good breakfast food in nice atmosphere. You can eat in or out. Had eggs Benedict (country style) one day and loved them. Cooked just right with egg soft and runny. Hollandaise wonderful. Another time had pancakes and they too were very good. The coffee... More

Are you kidding me? Close to $5 for a double espresso? This is a greasy spoon with a bunch of disheveled teenagers working there. I stopped for a quick shot to make it through the afternoon. There were dishes and rags on the counter and I had to wait for one of the three teenagers to stop talking about their... More

We sat next to a lovely family, at an attached table outside, and had a lovely discussion. It was just a delightful way to share a meal. The food was good, and even the coffee was very good which is unusual in most breakfast places. My husband and I had a bowl of fresh fruit, our youngest daughter had a... More
