A fun family picnic!

We love to stop by Cobie's for an outdoor lunch with the kids. There are plenty of simple, crowd pleasing options from burgers and dogs to seafood platters and sandwiches. My wife and I stopped here for fried clams and a lobster roll. What a delight! This place has a good reputation and is frequented by enough "locals'" to convince me we weren't just lucky. They know what they're doing and my guess is they don't deviate much from the basic recipe that put them on the map back in... More

If you want average seafood go to JTs. Cobie's is a step below and about the same price. We all had different fried options and were all sick within hours of eating here. Don't get the crabmeat salad - it looks prechewed and tasted terrible. THe onion rings were good.

Have passed this place many times and decided to give it a try. The have many options on the menu for everyone to try. Typical New England Clam shack with order at the window. The staff was very pleasant and were very quick taking ordered. I opted for a clam roll, fries and a ice tea. The clam roll was... More

We never visit the Cape without stopping at Cobies. The food is average, typical fried beach fare. However, its a great convent spot to sit outside and enjoy time with family.

We have been stopping there for over 30 years, and it seems as though things aren't as they were other years. The chowder seems to be not as good as previous years, and the scallops were a bit undercooked. My wife had the clam strips and these were decent and also not what we are used to. Will stop back... Thank you so much for your long-time support. Like you said, things have been great for 30 years, so it sounds like you caught us having an off day. I hope you won't let this one experience tarnish the 30 years of great ones. Looking forward to seeing you and your wife again soon. Thanks, Rob S, Owner More

Nice little road side place for fried foods and ice cream. We shared the clams (people order the dam things w bellies, the strips have no taste). It was good, fries were just ok...seemed frozen. But us little piggy's also ordered a foot long hot dog...wowza. I will come back here for that baby. Then we finished with great soft... More

Brian, I'm so glad you enjoyed your meal -- and that we'll be seeing you again for another hot dog! Like you said, our food is just as tasty as much pricier restaurants, but our window service keeps our costs down, which means lower bills for you. Hope to see you soon, Rob S, Owner More

I always make a point of going to Cobies when I'm on the Cape. In fact, I've been frequently the place for more than 30 years and I've always been satisfied. However, my last visit there was very troubling. My wife and daughters were served chicken salad that looked, and proved to be, Inedible, while I was presented with what... More
