After a day of sightseeing and geocaching on Cape Cod my GF and I had spotted The Woodshed Bar and decided to stop and have a cold one before dinner. It was apparent walking into the Woodshed that this was a local bar frequented by locals stopping to have drink or two before going home for dinner. We were welcome... More

We checked into our rental house close to dinner time and asked the agent for a recommendation. This place was very good. We were able to get in promptly, the food (very fresh seafood) and service were great and the atmosphere friendly especially with children. It was reasonably priced. Would definitely return.

Ordered days special fried oysters and clams. They were so undercooked and just so wet. The batter had all fallen off. When waitress returned with fried haddock she tells me that I should of asked for well done! Really?? As if I never ate fried clams or oysters! Stay away

The Brewster Inn & Chowder House is right on the main drag of Rte. 6A in the village of Brewster, so you can't miss it. Local friends who live in town year round recommended we come here, and we were not disappointed. I had a lobster roll, which had the right blend of lobster meat, mayonnaise and spices. Our local... The Brewster Chowder House has been an established Cape Cod restaurant for years. It was one of my late father's favorite spots. The Woodshed Bar has a loyal local following and the restaurant offers good food in a slightly upscale setting. We had dinner on a Friday in late May and were the first people in the dining room at... More

The Brewster Inn and Chowder House is in an old colonial house and has what looks like the original wallpaper! It is charming. It has two bars. One in the restaurant and "The Woodshed" in the back of the building. The service is prompt and thorough. But the real plus is the food. I think in such an unpretentious setting... More

My wife and I visited one day for lunch and another for dinner while on vacation. Donna and Sue were both very welcoming, and the chowder is among the best we've had (and we grew up in New England)! The prices are fair, and the Woodshed next door has bands play on the weekends during the late spring and summer.... More

Consistently good food. Small Cape Cod Inn dining. Fair prices. Specials. Can walk in, no reservations most times. Cape is busy in summer, so everyplace is busy. Parking in rear, plenty. Bar seating also in separate room. Casual.

Great service...food is gourmet style with the expected Cape Cod flair that one looks for when visiting this environmental treasure on the East Coast.
