Still Good!

We ate at the Brewster Inn and Chowder House last year and went back this year. On Cape Cod restaurants change from season to season so we like to try them out before bringing guests. We stopped here for lunch and were not at all disappointed with the food. The clam chowder was delicious, the best I've ever had, and the sandwiches/fries/cole slaw were all delicious and large portions. Our only complaint is that they serve their soft drinks (i.e., coke/diet coke) in very small glasses and they don't have free refills. The server did... More

Friendly townie-type place that delivers good, yet uninspired food. Ample parking. Not inexpensive. Has kids menu.

The Brewster Inn and Chowder House has very good food in an historic atmosphere. They have a bar inside and The Woodshed bar in the barn which is a popular summer "watering hole". The wait staff is friendly and helpful. My family and I have booked their separate dining room for an upcoming event.

As a year-round Brewster resident this place is where we go if we want a basic/quiet meal at a reasonable price. Last week I took 2 visitors for a Saturday night dinner. We had scallops, prim rib (special), and fish/chips. Also clam chowder and desert...both delicious. Coffee was our only beverage. The food was excellent (as usual), the prices reasonable... More

We went our first evening on the cape--its a comfortable restaurant with a wide selection and knowledgeable wait staff. I loved the sweet potato wedges! Will definitely go there again on future visits.

Unfortunately this was open during our Cape Cod visit and looked perfect however when the food came it was obvious that we would be disappointed. Hubby hated his broiled fish platter and stuffed quahog. Sister said her stuffed mushrooms were terrible. I liked my clams casino but the glasses of wine were small and I thought overpriced. Ugh

Very friendly, excellent food! We had the special chicken pot pie, very good, it was the last day they were serving it for the season.

We had lunch here on the recommendation of the folks at the Brewster Country Store and were so glad we did. Both orders were perfect. We each had one of the daily specials -- a grilled Rubin w/slaw and a Roast Beef on Wick w/clam chowder. The chowder was fantastic and the slaw (not one of my favorites) very good.... More

A lovely surprise with great service and excellent food. We enjoyed the fried oysters served with sweet potato fries and their own homemade cole slaw. The oysters were sweet, juicy and had the lightest crispy coating.
