I read a few of the negative reviews and I say to myself, what are they thinking? This is a wonderful restaurant, it's small, quiet, some would say romantic. There are 30 seats and a limited menu with eight entrées. True French cooking and service. Off season it is run by the owners; the chef and... read more

Four of us went for dinner and although the place is charmingly hidden away and quaintly quirky We were all not impressed. Highly overpriced at over $200 a couple! I ordered the foi GRAS to start which was overdone and tough. There was absolutely nothing on the menu that was healthy. I asked for my green beans to be steamed... More

We arrived at the restaurant ahead of two people we were meeting, so we sat at the very small bar to wait. The chef/owner's wife is the bartender/waitress. While we waited for more than 20 minutes, we were never asked if we wanted a drink. Couldn't catch her long enough to ask for one. I don't understand why they don't... More

Left the kids with my parents and enjoyed a wonderful meal at Peddlers. But for the parking lot, you'd drive right by this hidden gem. We went on a Thursday night in August. The open at 5:30, we got there just before 6:00, and within 10 minutes everything was full and folks were being told the wait was at least... More

You would never expect this little gem tucked away as it is in a cottage off the beaten path in Brewster. We had read the reviews, heard about slow service due to a husband and wife doing it all. We went expecting that and were delighted to find that it was wonderful, the food, the chef - husband and bartender-... More

First of all, the restaraunt is not known, to my knowkledge, as Peddlers Cafe and Grill. Peddlers is many things but a Cafe and Grill it is not. It is one of the finest Bistro's on the planet, in my humble opinion. The sign on Route 6A indicates a French Bistro on the street, the sign out front (not visible... More

Off the beaten path and not easy to find lies an authentic countryFrench bistro. As you enter a converted house covered in vines, you are quickly exposed to a room filled with plates, bottles, and a myriad of French items. The limited menu appears on a blackboard on a wall. We started with escargot- delicious. Fresh bread and a garlic,... More

Our family of four went to Peddler's based on the tripadvisor reviews and the menus posted on the restaurant's website. We generally like French cuisine and the atmosphere of a simple bistrot. We came very early to avoid waiting, and we felt lucky to get a table right away. People who came later were supposed to wait for quite a... More

We were referred to Peddler's by local residents 6 years ago and we have made it a point to return at least twice a season ever since. What a find! This lovely, shabby chic bistro is hidden on a dead end street behind the Brewster Bookstore and, despite their no reservations policy, we have always been lucky enough to score... More

Off the beaten track in Brewster, Cape Cod this charming, tiny restaurant features French and Italian cuisine, prepared to order by the French Chef owner. His wife provides table service and serves as Bartender so be prepared to wait. Service thus is slow. Food is outstanding but menu limited. Entrees $26.95 to $29.95 Only drawback - Drinks are grossly overpriced... More
