We always start and end our season at the Cape with a dinner at Peddler's. I always feel like I have been transported to a cozy bistro in France and served the freshest and most well-prepared food. We have tried everything on the menu - it is all wonderful. The husband and wife team provide wonderful service. I don't quite... More

Returned to Peddler's in November. I believe the atmosphere is even better with the colder weather; it's cozy, warm and welcoming inside. The food is still incredible, with some new things on the menu for fall. I had a lamb chop with peas, potato, carrots and string beans that was excellent.

Another great meal at Peddler's, but this time with Autumn vegetables. Rutabaga, Brussel sprouts - delicious ! They still have the best salad anywhere:)

We found this place while looking for an alternative to the ubiquitous clam shack. It's off the beaten path with a sign covered by foliage. It's like they don't want you to find the place and for good reason. It's a little French gem on Cape Cod. Pricey, but worth it. Owned by a husband and wife (he's the chef)... More

We introduced 2 more people to the ambience and culinary delight of Peddler's this summer - August 2012.

Peddler's is hidden gem in Brewster serving incredible food. The restaurant is a cozy place where the entrees are served fresh from the kitchen on skillets. All the food is excellent and fresh. Oh and the desserts are great too!

A pricey but good restaurant in a shamble of a place off Rte 6A in Brewster. If the atmosphere of the place is intentional, I did not find it appealing. After we were seated at our table across from the kitchen door, an in-wall air conditioner above our seating area was turned on, creating an unpleasantly loud rumble. The hostess... More

I've dined at almost all of the restaurants that Brewster has to offer, but I'd never tried Peddler's. You hear the name occasionally, but it's not heavily advertised. Located on Thad Ellis Road, this bistro has a relatively unassuming facade, but don't be fooled, the food is top notch. The dining room is very dark and you can't see much... More

Recommended by an acquaintance at a recent political event, I thought it was just small talk, but we decided to try it with another couple with whom we like to try new restaurants. Thirteen years is hardly new, but we can understand why people keep it a secret. Wow! It is not inexpensive, but it is cheaper than a couple... More

Do not be scared off by the disgruntled. I for one am no fan of self-proclaimed foodies. This restaurant has excellent food, charm, character and personality. Traits that are not found frequently on the Cape.
