If you want a lobster roll that majors in lobster, this is the place. There is plenty of outside seating and the servings are prodigious. We didn't indulge - the lobster roll was too filling - but they have very popular ice cream, as well.

Kate's opened for the summer season with higher prices but not better food. Their mostly fried seafood menu includes all the usuals, clams, onion rings, French fries, hamburgers, lobster rolls, fishwich, etc., but the clam fritters we had were overcooked and hard. Quantity was more than ample, but quality was lacking on this particular favorite of mine.

The fried clams were excellent, and the curly spicy fries great. Only regret is my Mom and I should have gotten only one clam plate to share. The dinners were so huge; we felt bad we couldn't eat it all, and had to throw some away. Rich thick black raspberry ice cream shake. Prices a little high but will definitely... More

Very Rude Owner that treats her staff terribly. There are much better fried food and Ice Cream places just down the road in Brewster.

We had some fried seafood platters and ice cream from Kate's during a recent trip to the Cape and came away with mixed reviews. Overall the service was friendly and efficient. The food arrived quickly and was about what we expected from a walk-up, seat yourself service - decent and plentiful. We also had ice cream which was very good.

The food here is average to poor. Even though it's a fried food joint, they can do better than this! And it's pricey. The upside is that it's a fun family vacation evening place to go and then have a hayride to the beach to watch the sunset.

This is a great place to stop for a quick bite, some cold ice cream or even a full dinner. They have nice picnic tables under the trees and the menu offers a wide variety of the usual fare, but also some great local seafood. Close to Lemon Tree Shops and the fabulous Paine's Creek Beach and the Natural History... More

We ate one fried fish dinner platter at this eat out restaurant and loved it. Food was fantastic and friendly service.

We've tried nearly all of the ice cream shops on the Cape and the ice cream here is still the best! Great flavors (still carry peppermint, but where is the m&m ice cream?) and big portion sizes with a classic outdoor picnic table style eating area. Unfortunately the prices, which used to be very reasonable, have caught up to what... More

Cute little outdoor restaurant - especially if you have kids, or are sandy from the beach. However -the fish sandwich is awful. The fish is frozen not fresh. This is Cape Cod - every other similar restaurant serves fresh cod - not frozen. Go to Captain Frostees, or Sir Cricket or the Original Seafood Restaurant - all of these serve... More
